My molly had babies and they're thriving, but there seems to be an algae bloom which I've never dealt with in the 2 years I've had an aquarium. I'm afraid to post a picture because people are mean. I love my fish and need to get this under control before anything bad happens :(
Her perms are fine but she still has terrible algae.
I feel bad because she comes in and always says my tanks are so clean n stuff and I want her to have a clean tank so she can enjoy it but she’s always got to have the light off or something.

I’ve come to recognize that Ulysses is about the heroics of ordinary people trudging through normal life. Leopold is an “everyman” to the point of becoming “noman”. He is not oft regarded while in a group setting and is frequently disrespected in the conversations of his contemporary working class Dubs. But Leopold faces bigotry, infidelity, impecuniosity, and solemnity without letting these external forces overcome his rich intrapersonal world of curiosity and commentary. So although Leopold is not registrable in the Greek heroic tradition, he may indeed qualify as such in the context of modernism.
Likewise, it is unreasonable for us as readers to set Molly to the standards of an unwaveringly chaste Penelope in Homer’s Odyssey. Leopold and Molly have a complicated relationship. She seems to be the only person in Leopold’s life that transcends the category of acquaintance (save for Milly and later Stephen Dedalus). Simon Dedalus and company (Leopold’s friends at Poor Paddy Dignam’s funeral: may Lord have mercy on him) seems to have a more excitable impression of Molly than they do Leopold. Obviously, a serious cause for harm and aggravation in the relationship is the cessation of lovemaking since the death of their infant son Rudy. Especially given that Molly is an uncommonly sexually liberated woman of her time and place. The lack of physical intimacy coupled with Leopold’s flighting career prospects may have been the impetus for a platonic relationship to upend their marriage. Of course, I believe Molly insinuates that Leopold does still use her alluring presence as part of his own sexual self gratification. Further, Leopold seems to exoticize Molly by associating her always with her Gibraltar and her Spanish features. I read this association in two ways: (1) a superficial way of fantasizing about sex (2) a reminder that Molly is in some ways an outisder in Dublin in a manner that is much akin to Leopold’s own background of Hungarian Jewish lineage. More blemishes on Leopold’s track record as a less than stellar spouse include his epistolary affairs and his frequent edifications of Molly.
Still, knowing all this. Molly’s thoughts about the affair with Boylan and her utter lack of remorse feels cold. She thinks a great deal about Leopold in the final episode. I think Molly knows that part of Leopold will be excited about the affair. But likewise I believe she understands it will hurt him both inwardly as well as contribute to the external hardships that
