I do know that people could become rich by stealing or becoming a leading merchant. But I do know that the Dutch east India company was owned privately the people were already rich and powerful and it was easy for them to get an English Empire Trading licence back then at the time. But I’m not sure if the were much or any companies during the 1100-1200 to the 1500/1600’s and centuries
Is it possible for an Earth-like setting to have a medieval/middle ages lifestyle (architecture, aesthetic, social structure) but still have predominantly bronze as the metal of that time?
I am trying to create a fantasy setting where everyone has armour and weapons made of bronze because iron is rarer than gold and only extremely wealthy or extremely powerful people have them. The historical Bronze Age weapons and armour are also very cool so I wanted to use them in stories more.
So, is it possible for society to progress into the middle ages in a social sense but for their weapons technology to remain in the bronze age? Is there some science-plothole I'm missing that might replace bronze as the main metal?
BTW, this is inspired by (insert: that one cool post on r/Fantasy about how there's untapped potential in the Bronze Age for anime).

The time gap between the events of Halo 5 and Halo Infinite is relatively small (Late 2558 - 2560) And we can already see there is an entirely new Generation of MJOLNIR armour (Gen 3) A whole new armour style for marines, changes to existing vehicle types plus new ones and new weapon variants/improved models. How does the UNSC have the ability to do this with limited resources, in less than two years, while their flagship (Infinity) is in hiding?
I understand that 343 wanted to take a different approach with ‘legacy’ graphics and art style, but is there are lore explanation for how it is possible?
More specifically: I'm trying to figure out when steel started being reliably usable instead of purer forms of iron. Cursory research (on Wikipedia) informs me that the plate armour of the late middle ages and the renaissance were made of steel. Looking into the development of iron and steel prodcution, in England specifically, seems to imply that homogenous steel was only available with the development of puddling in the 18th century. Were weapons and armor before that made from blister steel? Wrought iron? Both? If so, how common was each kind? I am an absolute amateur so if the question contains false premises, I apologize and am looking forward to being corrected. :)
I believe it was a trilogy, perhaps a young boy (wizard or magic) and two brothers (similar to Hound and Mountain). One may have had a hammer.
It was something like the "chronicles of", but may have been "adventures of" or something similar.
The ending was a twist and the hero of the story was the bird. They opened a chest and inside was gear for the bird and not the protagonist as expected.
This is my first playthrough. I managed to get this gold by completing a lot of side quests. Pls tell the weapons names too, it would help. Thanks
Why everyone thinks there is NO plate armor in Middle Earth?
Yeah I know almost all descriptions say that chainmail is used, but it would not be that strange to find metal plates. The greeks had cuirasses and greaves made of metal plates. During early middle ages plates were starting to be used again.
I don't think there was full plate like a nnight of the 15th and 16th century, but itwouldn't that strange to find that some high-rankings got sone pieces of it.
