My boss makes us tell dad jokes during our Friday morning meetings, fucking kill me already
I fucking hate mandatory fun.
Maybe I'm just an antisocial asshole but my BN has been planning this mandatory fun Holiday thing and I seriously do not give a single shit. I asked if I could come to my shop and get some work finished before the half day schedule and they said "No you have to be here." Why? I would rather work and do my job than decorate cookies and hang out with the BN for six hours of sophomoric Koolaid drinking and contrived platitudes. "You guys are doing great! We have the best BN in the Division! But if theres a single drip pan out of place this weekend you guys are showing up to fix it on Christmas! We're all one big family!"
This holiday mandatory fun shit makes me more depressed than actual work. How is that possible? I'm not spending time with my wife and children either way let me at least do something productive. I just dont get it, is there something wrong with me?
Sorry I just had to rant. It gets more aggravating every year.
Say if you are really hooked up on a JRPG title because the story, characters, music and world building is fun and great except for this mini game you encountered where it is so bad or unfair you avoid doing it until it became part of the game to progress the story. Have you ever experienced this? What do you think of these mandatory mini games where you need to win in order to proceed or else you're stuck at that part?
Also, do you think it is fair for a JRPG to add a mandatory mini game or should mini games stay in side quests?
On Monday my work announced that we would be having an optional "team building event" on Friday the 10th after work. It didn't seem all bad since it's just three hours of all-you-can-eat-and-drink at the bar that all the employees go to each Friday anyway.
Today we received an e-mail that the company Christmas party would be Friday the 17th after work. They asked us to RSVP so they can get a headcount to know how many buses to get to take us to the party / how much food the hotel needs to prepare. Although irksome that they decided to have two events on Friday nights back-to-back, it was just optional free food and drinks with people I like... until I got to the bottom of the Christmas party e-mail and saw "Leave application procedure
If there is extremely special situation that someone is unable to come, the staff please send email by Dec.6th ( Monday, 16:00) to (Big Boss) to ask for approval. Please ①state the reason for leaving ②cc your line manager and HR in the email."
The employee group chat went nuts.

I've noticed MF doesn't get talked about as much as a lot of his other albums. I don't think it was his best, but it's not a bad album at all. Why is this?
