A list of puns related to "Man v. Food (season 3)"
Personally, I loved season 3, but I know not everyone was happy with how it played out. I just watched episode 5 of the first season, and I've gotta say - everything tracks, they really were laying the groundwork for Villanelle to grow and change. Let me explain, and see what you think. (Sorry if this theory or idea has been posed before!)
In season 3, we see the root of Villanelle's pain, or trauma, in her relationship with her mother - a person who abandoned her in a cold, calculated way. I think Villanelle went home to see if anyone really did care about her just for her, not for what she can do or get for them. We see that in how she talked about the baby - "did anyone love me that much?" (or something to that effect, my memory isn't great). Deep down, she knows they didn't, because they abandoned her.
The only other person that we know of who truly cared about her was Anna, who in Villanelle's eyes betrayed her for her husband. Again, betrayal, just like her mom. We also see here that Villanelle really doesn't have a good grasp on social norms and expectations (since she kills the husband and expects Anna to be grateful). All her relationships seem to be conditional.
SO anyway, back to season 1. She's instantly drawn to Eve because she resembles the only person who ever cared about V, and for some reason Eve is instantly taken by her as well, which takes V by surprise. (I think it's chemistry, but that's a-whole-nother post). I was just watching episode 5, and was struck by the scene where Eve gets out of the car when being chased by V. Up til now, people are scared of V, or only seem to care about her for what they can get from her (think Constantine, who makes it clear his attitude towards her is dependent on her usefulness to the 12, or Nadia, who earlier in the episode only seemed to forgive V when V said that she could save her from her current circumstances), but Eve's boldness at the risk of her own life takes V by surprise. She points the gun at Eve, and Eve isn't scared away, again taking her by surprise.
Here's where it gets really interesting. She points the gun at herself, to gauge E's reaction, and Eve is visibly distraught that V might hurt herself. She cares. To me, the tears in V's eyes are a gut reaction to somebody who seems to genuinely care about her even at risk of their own life. It ignites the flame of the emotions she's been pretending aren't there. But they also make her vulnerable, which is why she runs away, and possi

Again, only the appropriate flair wearing rollers allowed. We are rolling four quarters of football, and nil is in play. Home side gets a potential 8* points extra as their home ground advantage, these are handed out in the first quarter and last quarter. If, however, a roller rolls without adding the advantage his roll will stand - you lose that chance. Harsh but fair.
I'll post minute markers for each game - Minute 0-20, 20-40, 40-60, 60-80. Wait for each marker before you roll.

My take on season 3: >!No Contender deserved to win, even Harry, due to their complete lack of understanding numbers. Who goes into a merge 6/6 with old tribes and immediately agrees to eat their own? They deserved to spend the rest of the season on bottom. I would have voted Harry however due to his absolute ability to constantly survive despite living with a target. But that last challenge was the most brutal I've ever seen, including the one where they were jumping from pole to pole.!<

Because personally, I actually liked it a lot...*Que the Rapunzel sword meme*
Yeah yeah, I was warned about how bad this season was for a lot of folks (saying going from season 2 to 3 really changed folks' view of the show). So I was going though this season waiting for that Game of Thrones' ending type moment that was going to make me dislike or change my perceptions of Arc V. But in the end, while it wasn't perfect and had its off moments, I liked it a lot.
The cameos of Aster and Alexis made me pop, and seeing Yuya's dad was pretty cool as well. Not to mention, the duels were entertaining. I even thought the story between the Yuya and Zuzu clones (which was my biggest anticipation) was really interesting. Not to say it didn't have its faults, but none of them that made me hated this season or this series in general.
What was the thing that turned folks off about this season?

Yep, this is pretty much a continuation on a post I did a few days ago right here: https://www.reddit.com/r/yugioh/comments/qmszru/after_watching_the_first_2_seasons_of_yugioh_arcv/
But my stance still has not changed even after season 3 (Actually in a way, it kind of makes Zuzu a protector since her bracelet was preventing the Yuyas to meet up together). Season 2 though is the strongest feel like the bond between the two was displayed since they didn't see each other face to face through a lot of it, and their absence made their hearts grow fonder. I do personally wish that here was a more intimate moment in the end of season 3 when they see each other again like they did in season 2, but I guess they still had to tease us with the "friend" card.
Their bond though is one of the big things that carried me through this series, and is not only my favorite ship in the Yugioh franchise, but also one of my favorites in probably in all of tv/cartoon/anime.
