One year ago TODAY, the Big Ten cancelled college football… a week later they said that the decision “will not be revisited”… and then 3 weeks later they suddenly pull a 180 and uncancel football claiming it was based on new medical protocol??
To US, that story NEVER added up.
Nebraska is the hero in THIS story and truly only an independent studio was willing to take on the project… and Big Ten. The B1G Network wouldn’t touch this… and same goes for countless outlets that fear the almighty wrath of Commissioner Kevin Warren.
We have no big pockets to fund a marketing campaign. And we fear that B1G will try to squash it. Leaders must be held accountable and, simply put, that never happened here.

Sit back my friends, grab a beer (or a 6 pack or maybe a 12 pack!), relax and enjoy the show. This is going to be a very long one as this story covers nearly 50 years! It has more ups and downs than the wildest roller coaster in the world! And to put this out there right up front, to anyone wanting to say we should split, don’t waste your breath as that is never going to happen. I love this woman with every fiber of my being and in fact simply don’t know how not to love her!
I should also say I am writing this mostly for myself as a recent “trigger” has blown open the flood gates and I am swimming in emotions and trying to process it all. That said, I would welcome any constructive comments and yes, I am sure there will be plenty calling me a dumb ass for staying, but as you will see it is a 2-way street. Also please keep in mind this is entirely from my perspective and memories.
We met our senior year in high school. She was infatuated with my best friend and I thought she was the most beautiful and sexiest girl I had ever seen. My friend had no interest in her and I pursued her hard! I finally won her over and we started dating. She was actually my very first girlfriend (and sexual partner) and yes I was a virgin. I was not her first. I fell HARD for her and knew I wanted to be with her the rest of my life.
After high school we went off to a local university (same school although she was in a 2 year program and I was in a 4 year program). I could not find my focus at school (I had always been a fairly good student). I left school after the first year and went to work full time. She met a guy in her same program and became friendly (yes you can see where this is going). Towards the end of her program one Saturday evening, she said she had to go to the library to study. Yes, I sort of “stalked her” as this was quite out of her character, and she was not home after 1:00 am when I went by her house. I did not confront her on this and let it “slide”.
We had gotten engaged her last year in college and were planning a wedding after graduation. A month or so before the wedding she called off the wedding and said she was going to go to a friend’s house for a week and then to visit her grandmother for a week to “find herself” and we would figure out where we stood after that. I was heart broken but she was adamant on going. I told her I would drive her (she did not have a car) to the friend’s house but she said no she wanted to do it on her own and would

I'm 22 and feel ready to quit. For those that got out of their hole, how'd you do it? I'm not looking for advice, I'm interested in your stories.
One of my favorite memories of Rimworld comes from one of my more mundane play throughs. No cannibalism, no drugs, no organ harvesting, just a simple farm life out in the jungle. My colony developed, grew in numbers and size and I began to tame livestock. Alpaca was the prime choice for the jungle. They were fairly abundant on the map, they produced milk and hair for food and clothing, plus they could be used in caravans. I quickly set out and tamed every available alpaca.
With a herd of about 5 alpaca I was satisfied. I didn’t realize it right away, but there was only a single female in the herd I tamed. That doesn’t matter, just a few births until we get another female, a bit of animal incest and my alpaca empire will be booming. Or so I thought.

My single female, alpaca 1, is now out numbered 6-1. Without another female in sight, she was destined to continue the legacy of the next generation of alpaca alone. Years pass and no wild herds of alpaca wander in. No traders are selling alpaca. She still stands alone.
Her offspring, strong and masculine, have all grown. She never bore a daughter. She is outnumbered 11-1. Sirens blare as a mechanoid raid drops into the colony, right into the barn. Tragedy strikes as she stands toe to toe with a scyther. She is strong and nimble, even in her pregnant state and old age, but she is still no match for a scyther. Left eye: gouged out. Right eye: damaged beyond repair. Her legs wounded. But the colonists take the scyther down and tend to her wounds.
Although she can no longer see well, life did not stop for alpaca 1. You don’t need to see well to know where the hay grass is stored, or where your bed is. Unfortunately for alpaca 1 other parts of her life were not so carefree. Her children, grown and fertile, take advantage of her weakness. It isn’t hard for them to sneak up on their 1/4 seeing mother. She has spent her entire life pregnant but now cannot identify who her mates are. Her children take advantage of her to continue this perpetual cycle. But it is her duty, and her duty alone to continue this clan of alpaca.
Epilogue.
I think at some point there were other female alpaca on the map, but this colony wasn’t about maximum efficiency. The story of the sole female in the herd, wounded during battle left to be taken advantage of for the rest of her days, was too good to pass up. This is journalist Elon Green’s first book, and unlike some True Crime authors, Green doesn’t focus on salacious sensationalism and the killer’s notoriety. Instead, he focuses much more on the victims of crime, especially their personalities and lives. I’ve done the same in my review and left out the name of the killer, which is easily found on Google. The title says it all really. Looking for a steamy, intense movie with a good, interesting story (ideally mystery or thriller, but anything else is okay.
Actually, The Handmaiden and Lust, Caution were my top two picks to watch - but my wife and I speak different first languages, and neither of them is Korean - we're looking for a movie where the audio language is either English or Japanese. And, unfortunately, Lust, Caution is unavailable on any streaming platform in my country.
Preferably not much older than the year 2000. Currently looking at Stoker and Chloe, but unsure how good either of them is, and definitely open to other suggestions..
What do you suggest?
Is there any story in history when a person infatuated by the beauty went to the extremes (murder/betrayal/lying) in order to get that person. We can say the love was one-sided and lead to many interesting turns in the story.
It's ending may be positive or negative.
I tried google search but in majority of the cases the love was always mutual. Like in the case of Edward VIII and King Henry VIII.
TL;Dr : Any short story from history involving one sided love or infatuation.
A friend recommended "Lust from Beyond" and I quite enjoyed the game. Having a real story and game design that also has adult content was really interesting to play so I wanted to see if there were any similar games. Anyone knows anything similar (Not any Japanese dating sim types please)

During her recent chat with Neha Dhupia on her chat show No Filter with Neha, Kiara shared that Karan Johar helped her to prepare for the scene.
Kiara said that as she had no experience of the device, she had to google about it. “He’d (Karan) tell each of us what to do, which is very interesting and I think he, at least for me, he literally held my hand through that. So, most of the homework, I would say was happening simultaneously on set... But, of course because it was this vibrator scene, I had really no experience with this device. I needed to google it."
She also shared that they did not do many retakes as the scene was really exhausting.
The actress also went on to laud Karan Johar as she said, “We’re really lucky when you work with Karan because he acts out the whole thing
