Love Come Down (film) Puns

I believe its a short film, like 10 minutes, that I probably saw around 2005. Once scene is a guy eating with his son, and his son turns his straw upside down to get the last bit of milkshake out of a funny shaped glass. This gives the man the idea to create a new type of pipe that will make it much easier for Shell (I think) to get oil out from deep in the earth. It might be a French film...?

I think about how few are the serious animated features released in the states and I understand how much money should be poured into a film like this but to be honest this is one of DC comics's crown jewels. I would of course love to see it but i would only watch it with a great visionary director and brought to cinemas (or streaming if the budget is right)

Imagine having a Kingdom Come movie with animations keen to something like Akira, gits, Animatrix or Gotham Knight.

It's should be something groundbreaking and in future years of course the new Spiderman comes to mind, or Love sex and robots' "The Witness"

I would most defenetly hate if they put out a Kingdom Come movie with the bland animation they got going right now.

1. In the scene where Oliver and Elio's friends were playing volleyball, they only used pieces of clothing to set the boundaries of the court. I love this part hahahaha
2. Elio pulling Marzia on the dance floor but she doesn't follow him. I wonder why?
3. The little jump that Elio makes while he was running back to the house after Oliver massaged him, I found that so adorable. Also Elio walking barefoot on pebbles like it was no big deal... Ouch!
4. That broken door that's just resting on the wall beside Elio's bed.
5. I've actually mentioned this before but I love how Mr. Perlman skips to his chair during the dinner scene.
6. Elio makes the same face with his rolling eyes when Anella tells Mafalda to clear the plates (because Oliver wasn't coming to dinner) and when Marzia tells him she loves him towards the end. Maybe it's a Timothée Chalamet thing?
7. Does Elio have a fascination with shoulders? He kissed Marzia's shoulder before swimming in the lake, and he also kissed Oliver's shoulder on their special night. It's sweet, and it's such an intimate gesture.
8. I absolutely find Elio's moody moments amusing. I'm only 20, so it reminds me of my bratty/sassy moments lol. Like when he looked bored to death after their dinner and Mr. Perlman was asking him to play the piano. Also that little bow that Mr. Perlman does near the piano when Elio was acting all annoyed. Hahahaha
9. When they were walking to Lake Garda, Elio was pulling his shirt down from behind.
10. Speaking of Lake Garda, this has probably been mentioned here (again, sorry!), but the resemblance between Elio and the statue they found is insanely uncanny! Timothée is crazy beautiful...
11. The fading transition in some scenes (apricot origin name were very old school and on point!
12. At the beginning of the first kiss scene, the sigh Elio makes when they were lying on the berm is so precious... You can hear the pure happiness in that sigh even with your eyes closed.

It was a short film, I watched it in 2012/2013 but not sure how far ahead it was, was pretty good quality of video. It was live action

From what I remember, it follows a guy who is killing zombies in his own home, then hears sirens or something and he looks back and sees a woman dead on the floor. He then remembers that he took mushrooms or some other drug which made him trip out and he realises all along that he was just murdering an innocent family/his own maybe?

Look at me, Im healthy at the moment. Im studying at the moment. I have money and a further education at my job at the moment. Look at me I have a releationship now.

Look at me all my friends are gone, studying is hell because i cannot fokus anymore, the girl I thought I can build up more hates me now. Look at me I hate my job.

This roller coaster will keep going. Every day, then if not every day, than every another month.

I can't manage it anymore. Every High WILL be followed by a low. Why should I keep on going? Why?

Honestly. From Friedkin, Ridley Scott, and Mctiernan to Spielberg and Lucas, without whom we wouldn't even have this sub-genre, whenever the shallow nature (shallow =/= bad) of these films or how their scale cannot possibly sustain itself long term is noted by these filmmakers, many claim they're "bitter" and "has-beens". What exactly do the likes of Spielberg and Lucas have to be bitter about? It reeks to me of biting the hand that feeds them.

Michel Gondry once called these super fans fascists. I'm inclined to agree at times.
