A list of puns related to "Louisa Cavendish Bentinck"
From: Wonders and Marvels
"Such was the case with Consuelo Montagu, the Duchess of Manchester, who snagged her hoops while climbing over a stile and landed upside down, revealing a pair of scarlet knickers."
From her Wikipedia page:
"Lady Eleanor Stanley recorded in her diary in 1859 that during a "paper chase", the Duchess caught her hoop while climbing over a stile, and was left with the entirety of her crinoline and skirts thrown over her head, revealing her scarlet drawers to the assembled company. The Duc de Malakoff, the French ambassador, is said to have exclaimed "C'Γ©tait diabolique!" at the sight."
Not sure which of the sources in this article this came from. All of the New York Times articles are gated and the 2009 book did not have a preview. I checked the others and it was none of them.
Yaβll itβs another Saltzpyre post. I think we can safely say that this is the most anticipated content FS has ever produced for the game. We always get excited for new content(weaves arenβt real, there were never any weaves), but this is what we might call unprecedented. Horrendous wars continue to be waged over the upcoming class, with the well established Warrior Priest camp fighting the ever present insurgents of Vampyre Saltzpyre and various others. Posts have been made in vain to squeeze information from the devs, acts of understandable desperation. This kind of anticipation was not present for the other classes, not in its intensity or volume. No leaks have been made to temper expectations or kill hype. Itβs been crazy.
This sort of thing would not have happened if it wasnβt for the absolutely incredible performance of Tim Bentinck, Fatsharks resident nobleman. The amount of effort he puts into every line is insane. The performance is the most over the top of all the U5, and that takes some serious energy. He was given a villainous character and produced a hero that we loved when we first fired up the game. His entire performance roped me into Vermintide, and eventually into the Warhammer Fantasy world proper. Bentinckβs voice work as a bombastic, menacing, cruel, and comically single minded hero has roused nearly every nerd in this subreddit to speculate and bicker Endlessly. Itβs not just new content for a game we love, for many of us this is the next chapter of Victorβs story and the main event. Weβre here for Him and Bentinck. That being said, itβs time to accept that it might be a while, and quite frankly thatβs fine with me. This shouldnβt be rushed and deserves serious effort, so devs and the entire vermintide teamβ¦.take your time. God damn Iβm excited though guys
In just one month, the Vermintide community has turned out incredible support for the community-run event channel Fight the Tide, where events such as Vermintide Festival and the Onslaught Series are hosted. Thanks to your support, we cracked over 1k followers in six days, and as a thank you, we put our heads together to create a small, impromptu event for you in return (think of this as a mini-Vermintide Festival)!
This milestone stream will feature interviews from Fatshark developers and writers, community content creators, fan artists; and this time, we are extremely honored and excited to have the privilege of interviewing Tim Bentinck, the voice actor of Victor Saltzpyre to bless our ravaged bodies!
This event will be held over two days on the Fight the Tide Twitch channel at https://www.twitch.tv/fightthetide, Saturday, June 12, 12pm EDT/6pm CEST/5pm BST and Sunday, June 13, 12pm EDT/6pm CEST/5pm BST, hosted by u/ishkatv, Scarecrow Clock (formally known as Rain Guy), and /u/yallvegarden.

I am in desperate search to find this book. I am a quarter way through and I just need to know the ending. Unfortunately this book was something handed to me during a waiting room and I never managed to finish but I am gripped!
The book involves characters named:Molly cavendish whom is the mother, Paddy the father,Eileen the eldest daughter, then Briony, Bridgette Kerry, Rosalee, cindy, Henry, Isabel, ms.horthon (I think) Tom Delaney,Abel,Ms.Jones. The story is set in London. Around the late 1900s into the early 2000s. The father is a drunk, he one day is approached by a man in the street named Henry who is interest in his young daughter Eileen. He asks to have Eileen for 2 shillings a week. She then lives with him where she is exploited but is cared by the maid and cindy during her time. Her sister briony follows suit willingly and eventually gets pregnant at 12 and the wife of Henry wants the baby from briony so she gives up the baby for the house and 2000 shillings. She meets a boy named tom to which they become very close to later on becoming buisness partners opening multiple brothels, jazz clubs and kerri the sister becomes a hit!
The family grew up in the slums and then moved to oxlow lane. Eileen ends up killing her dad with an iron, Abel dumps the body in the river.
I think the book title involves the word lady. I know it says she knows everything on the front cover. It has a girl with red hair, pale and she looks as if sheβs walking from out the shadows.
Please help me locate this book!
Why was he significant enough to have statues of?
The college doesnβt mention the exact date for releasing decisions, they only says mid January. I am literally anxious and I wonder is there anyone else also applied to Lucy Cavendish?
Iβm kind of freaked out at the amount of people on the other subreddit who think that Brady and Louisa are absolute disrespectful monsters because Miranda knows that they have sex and has seen them kiss. Not even talking about the fact that theyβre loud and annoying and leave the door open, but there are comments about how Miranda should literally slap Louisaβs face and throw her out of the house for letting Miranda accidentally open that lube. Or people saying that they went to extreme lengths to make sure the their parents didnβt know they were having sex, and that they wouldβve been mortified if their parents even found out that they owned condoms or went to the gyno. No one seems to actually find it problematic that Brady and Louisa are having sex, they seem to be fine with that, but they think Louisa especially (bc misogyny) is an absolute bitch for letting Miranda see that sheβs spending the night there rather than hiding in the room all night, or even saying βthanks for being so cool about this stuff.β
This seems really regressive, to the point of being almost scary, especially for people who watch and enjoy SATC. I would so much rather my son talk to me about sex, and how to do it safely, and where to buy condoms, and whether or not heβs ready, and whether or not his gf is ready, and how BC works, than just hide it all, sneak around, make uninformed decisions, and act like sex is somehow shameful in general, and disrespectful to me specifically. I wouldnβt want him to be having loud, screaming sex late at night with his door open and then walking around half naked in my kitchen, and leaving condoms on the floor, but thatβs not what people seem to be only upset about. Theyβre upset about the fact that Brady and Louisa donβt βrespectβ Miranda enough to lie to her and pretend that theyβre not sexually actively. Theyβre not mad that Louisa and Brady are ordering apple flavored lube, theyβre mad that Louisa didnβt break into tears, apologize profusely, and run away never to show her face again when miranda opened it, and theyβre mad that miranda didnβt literally physically assault Louisa and throw her out of the house for daring to let miranda see the lube accidentally.
Iβm all for thinking it was awkward and unfortunate that miranda opened her kidβs lube, but I donβt think itβs inherently disrespectful to her that heβs not lying about the fact that he has sex. I think itβs way more disrespectful that he called her a bitch or left used condoms and d
