A list of puns related to "List of ventriloquists"
He was a pain in the butt
I think my resume speaks for itself
It was a pain in the hole.
Before you say it, I know the dummies aren't the ones talking. I just think it takes away the illusion of them being their own person or entity to see them not talking into a microphone but still being heard anyway.
Is there a reason they don't have a fake microphone in front of them?
Terry Fator won Season 2. The host at the time, Jerry Springer, hosted Season 3, and then left.
Paul Zerdin won Season 10. The host at the time, Nick Cannon, hosted Season 11, and then left.
Darci Lynne won Season 12. The host at the time, Tyra Banks, hosted Season 13, and is now leaving.
Whoever replaces Tyra, watch out for any ventriloquists, they're bad luck...

Hi Daniel,
As evidenced by the fact this sub exists, I am a reasonably large fan of Darci Lynne, but I am not all that knowledgeable about ventriloquism. You've made a couple of posts on /r/agt, so I hope that means you're willing to have a discussion.
As such, I have a couple of questions I was wondering if you could answer.
First up, I'd like to ask the same questions that mynewsla.com asked some veteran ventriloquists four months ago when Darci's audition had just aired, partially to get another opinion, but largely to get a more up to date view (four more performances have happened since the publication of this article, all of which I feel are stronger than her audition):
How do you rate her technical skills? Is she disguising her mouth and throat movements well?
How do you rate her showmanship?
Is singing a special challenge for ventriloquists? Or was her choice an easy lift?
Do you agree with her statement: βI would really like to keep ventriloquism alive. Because itβs not common, you knowβ?
What else should readers know about ventriloquism or your view of her place in the profession?
Next, I have some questions of my own:
What would you say are Darci's strengths? You've said that during the Quarterfinals she 'showed skills of manipulation that we've only seen by the likes of Dan Horn'. Is there anything else that she's particularly good at?
And what are her weaknesses? Where does she next improve?
You've said that you 'put her in the top 1%'. Is this of all ventriloquists, or of young ventriloquists?
You've said that 'only a ventriloquist can truly appreciate what she's been able to accomplish in such a short period of time'. Could you give us some details as to what sort of things she's accomplished?
It seems you (or Crazy Uncle Fester) met Darci at the Ventriloquist ConVENTion in 2016. Wha
I didn't know whether it was her or the beer talking...
