A list of puns related to "List of top Premier League goal scorers by season"
I know most people know Rooney's goalscoring exploits but was looking through some stats and realised how consistently Rooney has been assisting as well. Sorry if this is common knowledge; thought it was a nice stat for the Captain!
All Time Scorers:
All Time Assists:
Henry is 6th in the assists, at 80, out of interest. Also, stats only concern the Premier League era.
All six of those players' futures are up in the air.
Lukaku has rejected a new contract at Everton, Costa has been linked with a move away from Chelsea several times over the last year, Sanchez seems unhappy at Arsenal, Ibrahimovic has an offer from the MLS, Defoe would surely find a new club if Sunderland are relegated, and Aguero has been talked about as a possible departure with the emergence of Gabriel Jesus but he seems the least likely to leave.
I'm fully expecting joke answers but serious discussion would be nice.
Thank you maestro, what a rollercoaster it has been this year!
Status schaal: pakked.
I was making this for fun and thought that I should share this.
Note that to qualify for the list, the player has to have scored at least 7 goals over the season.

It's also worth mentioning that we most likely would have finished 1st or 2nd in the league in goals scored, but Chelsea, Man City and Tottenham exploded for a ridiculous 30 goals combined in their last two match days (13 for Tottenham, 9 for Chelsea and 8 for City).
With the addition of Salah, I'd imagine we'll score even more, yet the goal spread might be even wider. Are we set to never have a player close to challenging for the Golden Boot, and yet always finish near the top of the league in Goals scored? It seems kind of intriguing to me, and I'm starting to like that we won't be absolutely screwed because we have a Lukaku/Ibrahimovic/Kane go down injured.
But it also irks me when I look at the top scorers and have to scroll past Llorente, Defoe and King to find Liverpool's top scorer haha.
Is there currently any other top quality team built like Liverpool is right now? Would we be able to succeed this way, going for a wide spread of scorers and not really having one gamebreaker? It seems a bit unnatural to me but I feel like we could.
Sorry for the ramble haha.
Anyone got any suggestions? Placing a Β£12.5 each way on someone with paddy power for the Β£2 bet each time they score. Was thinking hazard because I'm a Chelsea fan and I'm wishful but I'd love some different opinions
