A list of puns related to "List of the shortest running Broadway shows"
I was just wondering if there was any place i could find out what shows ended up getting a Japanese Album.
I know Wicked had two songs on the 10th Anniversary Cast Recording.
Okay so I (20F but not relevant) go to university and my course/year group are currently preparing for a show. In the process, people have been taking on various roles in organisation and there has been a group chat created that includes everyone.
The show is not optional. The venue has been payed for by the uni, however everything else is organised by the students. The tutors sent out an email which says, and I quote: βyou will not be allowed to just turn up on the day with some random shred of work to throw down in the hopes that you will passβ. Fair enough.
Someone in the group linked to donations page with a sheet attached that had everyoneβs name on it, and it is expected of people to tick off whether they have donated. The donations are being used for posters and transport for people who have chosen to create that they canβt carry but want at the event. the rest will go to the end of year show.
I did donate, but then I saw the tick list and thought about how mean it is to make a list clearly with the intent of pressuring people into donating and shaming them if they donβt. Someone sent an email with the words βwe will be keeping track of those who have donatedβ so in my opinion, I find it difficult to not interpret this as a manipulative tactic to make people feel bad for not having the means to donate. Maybe Iβm being judgemental though.
We are students, paying outrageous amounts of money to even be on the course, and most live in a city of which the living cost is astronomical. The amount we were asked to donate was not much at all, but itβs still the amount itβll cost to get the bus to work (if you live in said city) or uni, or contribute to lunch etc. I just thought about how shitty it would be if you were under great financial stress and even spending a small amount would impact you.
Yet surprisingly imo, no one has said anything, which makes me think Iβm being a sensitive asshole who should just keep their mouth shut about something that doesnβt effect them. To be fair it is a small amount of money, and I know it must be hard to take lead in organising this stuff, obviously the money needs to come from somewhere but the venue is payed for???Posters are optional, and parts of the cost are for something not even a third of the people will be using. This is a large group of people so even if half of us donated it would be a lot. It just seems a little inappropriate to βshameβ people into not donating? I donβt even know if I can call it sham
... keep reading on reddit β‘Tittle says it all. I don't have much storage (iPhone SE 32GB user here) so I think it would be a good idea to blaze through the shortest games first.
As in like, anything that has LGBTQ+ characters or a crush-worthy female character in it.
Anyhow, if any of yβall want recommendations, I have loads.
As you can see I'm trying to find a list of all the cast albums from Off and Off Off Broadway musicals from the 2010s era does anyone have a list? I would appreciate it!
I've noticed that a lot of shows have posted their closing notices for August and July, which is somewhat common for July but very rare for August. I'd like to know what shows you think will go into those theatres (Not counting the Hayes, Friedman, Hudson, Sondheim, Brooks Atkinson, and the Lunt-Fontanne, since those have been planned--though we still haven't found out what the third announced show will be for the Friedman yet)...Just am wanting to know!
Any help would be appreciated, I am having a hard time finding a list. Thank you!
Iβm thinking Jim Carrey just had an amazing run of great movies starting with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. If you want to call it comedic performances or comedic movies then yes heβs the answer undoubtedly. From 1994 to 1998 he goes on an absolute tear releasing classic comedies in just the 4 years. Itβs hard to top it but I know there are some close actors. What are your favorite movie runs like this?
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)
The Mask (1994)
Dumb and Dumber (1994)
Batman Forever (1995)
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995)
The Cable Guy (1996)
Liar Liar (1997)
The Truman Show (1998)
Let me clarify that these are a string of hit movies whether they are loved or not. Doesnβt matter if you like them or not, what Iβm saying is that these were all made and released in only 4 years. Iβm trying to figure out other actors or directors whoβve made a similar run. Yes eternal is probably Jims greatest movie but that was later on and thereβs a lot of non hits surrounding that one.
My picks are King Kong, Pretty Woman, The Cher Show, Beautiful, or Waitress.
Let me know what you think down below!
