I was listening to "This Life" from Key's album Face, and I realized that I really like the sound of songs he has written or contributed lyrics to. I love "I Will Fight", "This Life", and "You and I", all of which were written by him. (Truth is that I love almost all of SHINee's songs, but there's something really unique about Key's songwriting style.)
Anyone know where I can find a list of songs he has written for? I suppose I could just scroll through the wikipedia article that lists all of SHINee's songs and find the ones that list him as the writer. But has he written anything for any other groups? I don't think he has, though, because all the songs that I know of that he wrote are all very personal and based on his own emotions, I think.
I hope he writes more in the future. Jonghyun, of course, was an unparalleled songwriter of many, many beautiful songs. I also saw that Onew wrote some of the songs in SHINee's more recent comebacks, like in the 1 of 1 album. And Minho, of course, has been writing his raps since the beginning. And Taemin wrote "Soldier", one of my favorite of his solo songs. So hopefully they will be writing more songs in their next comeback :)
Anyway, can't wait for the members to return from the military and produce more music! I hope Key writes more songs for his next album.
With the current rumours about some of the songs on Lover, I was curious as to which songs Taylor has written all by herself. I know Speak Now in its entirety was written by just Taylor, but what other songs?
I know I could figure it out using my CD booklets or online but A) I know some of you like giving this information and have it already and B) Some other people might be curious too

As requested in an earlier thread, I'm posting the list of songs featuring Patrick Stump's golden touch in one way or another.
Patrick has done various wonderful things to these songs. He's...
I drew most of this list from Wikipedia, so please tell me if I'm missing something (especially for the covers section)! All songs will be arranged as chronologically as possible.

So I've been thinking about this for a while: to what extent did JC write all songs (except some like Automatic Stop which was co-written with AHJ) in ITI and ROF?
Being in a band myself, I think that there are a lot of misconceptions over the song credits of the records.
For example, I can understand that JC wrote the basic chord progressions/harmonies and the lyrics, but personally I don't think that he wrote ALL guitar parts and solos and then told NV and AHJ the way they should play them. Same goes for bass and drum parts.I just think the other guys MUST have come up with something to add to the songs, like Fab's drum break in NYC Cops, the guitar solos, and other kind of transitions.
Just trying to open a friendly discussion in here, if there's anyone who actually knew the band, please tell!
PS: I love JC, don't get me wrong :)
Hey Reddit, I hope you all can help me out with this. When my dad was around 16 years old, he wrote letters to many important figures in the world, asking them for their motto in life. Many of them responded. He has this immense collection of letters in a lock box, but he has no idea what they are worth. I thought maybe I could post up on here to see if there are any experts that could give a little guidance. I have attached a few examples, but I don't live near him and I can't easily go take more photos anytime soon. Here is the complete list of letters he received personal answers from, including a signature:

In my opinion it was her music that ultimately shaped Adventure Time into what it is now. Songs like "Daddy Why Did You Eat My Fries?" and "I Remember You" were both huge emotional turning points for the show, and I feel like there can't really be a satisfying ending without her music to finish it off.
I'm really hoping for a montage similar to the one at the end of the stakes miniseries.
