A list of puns related to "List of longest serving soap opera actors"
I just read that pornstar grandma is saying producers made her go through that whole offering Annie a check to go home scenario, and that she didn't even have a checkbook of her own. I'm absolutely over all of this fakery that's being handed to us. If I wanted to watch a scripted show, I'd watch one. I understand that they want to keep things interesting, but we are being shown things that are absolute fantasy. Look at the Anna and Mursel situation, it's as obvious as the nose on my face that there was supreme misrepresentation going on with what we were shown with them. Apparently, she was doing some kind of live IG thing, talking about him being gone, when he walked in the door behind her with one of her sons. Quit with the bullshit, TLC! If the couples you are picking are too freaking boring, then choose different couples, or quit pretending that this is reality in any way shape or form. We all know reality isn't really reality, but TLC has taken the fraudulence to whole new levels. I'm sick of leaving comments and getting involved in these situations, when it's all made up. I'm just about on the verge of boycotting the show all together. If enough of us did that, perhaps TLC would go back to the way the show was in the beginning.
It was around 2008 when I was attending at a youth group at my Catholic church. I believe the speaker was also Catholic. He was introduced as a daytime tv star, an actor on a popular soap opera. At the time he was middle-aged and tallish with wavy gray hair.
He railed on the dark side of the entertainment industry, the superficiality of the media, manipulative advertising tactics, the moral bankruptcy that lead to the housing crisis, and the erasure of God from public life. I'm not religious any more but he really had impact and made me think more critically.
Any clue who he was?
I have a weekday off from work and I was casually watching one of these and realized how dialogue intense they are. How do the writers write all of this and how do the actors memorize all of it?
Do they shoot these every day of the week?
I saw it a couple years back and thought it was hilarious. Since then I can't find it, but I remember it had some murder mystery plot, and every once in a while someone got a pan dropped on them with comedic timing. If anyone could help that would be appreciated
