What are the views of a veteran American soldier towards the Soviet infantry during the Second World War?

Excerpt from Citizen Soldiers by S. Ambrose:

(P.456) Sgt. Bruce Egger remembered a lieutenant who surrendered to him. The lieutenant spoke perfect English... "He gave us a lecture about why the Americans should not have waged war on Germany; we should have joined them fighting the true enemy, which was Russia, and that it was not too late. We laughed at him, but as the Cold War developed, I often thought of his words."

We somehow develop Nuclear Weapons before the end of World War I

Let's say, by some miracle, scientists of one of the major alliances find a way to split the atom by 1916. By 1917, one of the countries has a functional atom bomb equivalent to that of Fatman and Little Boy.

1.) How would each the Allies use this bomb? How would the Central Powers? How would the arc of history change with each of these sides using the bomb?

2.) What would be the effect of the bomb on the war?

3.) Would there be an arms race as a consequence, as countries around the world attempt to stockpile as many of these weapons as they can?

4.) Would the development of these weapons in the Great War era increase or decrease chances of nuclear war being broken out?

My Personal Battlefield 1 Weapon Tier List (Every Infantry Weapon)

(DISCLAIMER THIS IS MY OPINION AND ONLY MINE, BASED OFF OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCE)

Decided it would be fun to rank all the battlefield 1 weapons, i only have about 100~ hours experience so don't take this as being objective, this is just my personal list.

S TIER: Weapons that are the top of there class, the most effective option for their role, the best choice.

A TIER: Amazing weapons, a very effective option for its role, always a good choice.

B TIER: Great weapons, a much effective option for its role, a good choice for most situations that fit into its role.

C TIER: Average weapons, an effective option for its role, a good choice if the situation fits its role.

D TIER: Below average weapons, can be an effective option for its role but outclassed, can be a good choice if the situation completely fits into its role.

E TIER: Bad weapons, an ineffective option for its role but outclassed by other weapons, can be used but not that good a choice.

F TIER: Awful weapons, a terrible option that does not achieve anything in its role, a bad choice.

If you disagree with me, please tell me what weapon placements you disagree with and why, i want to hear your personal picks. This is only my list and what fits into my play style, so don't take it personally.

Item World #8 - List of Recommended Weapons to Upgrade

As always, it's a thread to give an idea on what to go for once IW drops.

FAQ:

> So is this list ordered in priority?

>> Sort of. I've made it in such a way that if a weapon does something other than just improve damage, it's on top of the list. Better stuff for the healer/support/tank tend to yield better results for you in the long term than better damage numbers, unless you OTK them ofc.

> Then why is STMR at bottom?

>> Because they're STMRs, the requirement to getting them is WAY steeper than TMRs. Plus, I think it's common sense if you have an unenhanced STMR that you can enhance right now, why not go for it?

> What about the stats?

>> Still what I think is right on it. It's still your call on what you should get from the RNG though.

> I already have the rare ability from the last IW, do I get the boosted version right away?

>> Sadly, no. You have to run that weapon through IW again so you can get the boosted rare ability.

Again, this is just to give you an idea on what you should go for. If you think you should enhance your Excalipoor because you think you can easily kill the Bomb Family with it, then go for it. (But, I am not responsible for your losses if your 47% ATK Excalipoor doesn't do the trick. Also, don't enhance Excalipoor. EVER.)
