Im sorry if the title seems unspecific but I want to say a couple months back there was a clip circulating on reddit, around the time where the BLM protests started. There was a clip from a show an old show where there was a black kid in the classroom full of white kids. The teacher had asked a question of some sort I think on the lines of “what do you want to change about yourself?” and the black child responded with “I wouldn’t want to be dark skinned” (paraphrasing because terrible memory) but afterward, the teacher seemed heartbroken and called his home. He lived with a white family and the father of that family asked why he said that, and the child told him “My father was killed because of his skin color” and went on to essentially explain how it was hell being black on the time they lived in. It was a heartbreaking clip and it received many rewards and upvotes I just can’t remember how to find it for the life of me.
