A list of puns related to "List of countries by firearm related death rate"
Building on the helpful conversation we had last legislative session through the hard work of /u/0x00000042, here's a start at listing all the bills that relate to firearms introduced for the 2017 regular session.
If you aren't familiar with how a bill becomes law in Washington State I encourage you to read an overview of the Washington State legislative process. It's a long, difficult, process to make it through all the committees and votes, and most bills never come close to passing. Knowing the status of a bill, which committee it's with, etc. is helpful in knowing where to direct public comment. Just calling your local representative when a bill is sitting in committee is less effective than contacting the committee reps directly, for example.
With that in mind, here's the list. I'll do my best to keep this updated as bills get introduced.

Apparently parts of RCW (RCW 43.06.220 specifically) include a provision that the governor, when declaring a state of emergency, can optionally also prohibit "the possession of firearms or any other deadly weapon by a person (other than a law enforcement officer) in a place other than that person's place of residence or business" in the area described by the state of emergency. Who knew?
Anyway, this bill would strike that portion so the governor no longer has that power.
My thoughts: This bill will never make it out of the house committee where it sits and is almost certainly dead for this legislative session.
This is the bill that made all the news late in 2016, and would allow concealed carry permit holders to conceal carry inside public facilities like stadiums.

HB 1100: Concerning concealed pistol license renewal notices.

A. The Israeli Palestinian conflict is by far one if the least deadly conflicts in the world, and is responsible fir maybe 00.01% of the conflict related deaths in that time frame (literally every other country in the area has more lost of lives under its belt.
B. You agree that Russia and China are worse but my point was that no one boycotts these countries, and fir that matter other Middle Eastern countries with much greater lost of lives in them. So thats the double standards you seems to go on with.
C. Israel is on the top 10% of countries when it comes to womenβs rights, animal rights, LGBT rights, personal freedoms and education. So it does give the βIsrael is a democracyβ notion much substance. Also giving that Israel has Arab Muslims living freely within it, members of parliament, supreme court and so on, also helps the case. The Palestinians themselves ARE not enjoying equal rights, but they are also not citizens, they have their own governments, laws and police and so on.
I agree its a ducked up situation that Israel is controlling militarily over them, but this is obviously due to the on going unresolved conflict, that neither the Palestinians nor any world power has a solution to.. and the Palestinian do incite for killing Israelis and tend to do so when they have a chance... so I hope you are not suggesting Israel can just leave the Palestinians and expect to not suffer the repercussions....
