Non native English speaker here. I have a BS in Economics and MBA. I would like to do a PhD or MS+PhD in Economics or Finance or Business.
I was looking for a comprehensive list of all the sub-disciplines of Economics and Finance and Business one can do a PhD in (that is specialize).
From what I understand PhD topics are very niche. But nonetheless the whole Phd tends to have a flavor of a certain sub discipline. Even if I am wrong about this I would like to specialize and work on a specific sub discipline.
I went over the AEA list but the categories are not all clear cut and it doesn't include Finance or Business.
Can someone link me to such a list if they know it?
As a side project Iβm building a website listing the top books for young Wall Street professionals. Iβve aggregated a list of books from the various articles on this topic and am interested in getting input from actual people in banking programs to see what they are reading. If youβre willing to help Iβm just asking for an excel file listing the books youβve read as well as your current position.
I did some light searching online and I could not find a comprehensive list of all the subdisciplines in the field of Finance and Business.
There is a list with subdisciplines in the field of Economics but not in Finance and Business.
Can someone please provide a link to a list that showcases all the subdisciplines in the field of Finance and Business?
Iβm struggling to know what people are wanting to trade for since everybody talks in code.
Sorry if itβs the wrong flair.
Iβve been playing DnD for almost a year now, and Iβm having a great time. However, I recently introduced one of my friends to it, and one thing that has been a barrier for her are all the specialized terms, abbreviations, and acronyms that are used in the game. Does anyone have a very detailed or comprehensive list of these sorts of things, and if not can we make one?
I've always been intrigued by the words that are formed in the end of the web-address when watching a game in League Pass, so, because pure-procrastination, I made a list of all the possible permutations of each team abbreviation. Some strange words pop up, like "Toruta" or "Chicle", or "Bosphi".

I donβt think I ever seen this anywhere and I was curious.
I would love to see a list of all interfaces and abbreviations.
EGOH Finance was founded by members of the HOGE community and is an extension of the HOGE ecosystem. EGOH is a BEP20 token that takes advantage of the Binance Smart Chain and bridges the gap between HOGE (ERC native) and low gas fees.

EGOH is a deflationary, autostaking token, that brings you the best of both worlds. Just by holding EGOH in your BSC wallet, you will receive HOGE free!

Sometimes I get confused reading people's posts/comments because there are so many abbreviations. I can't be the only one. This is for all of us who have to comment and ask what an abbreviation means every time we see a new one.

I found a similar resource for FBS college football from r/CFB here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/wiki/abbreviations . I just feel like CBS, ESPN, etc. all show different abbreviations and I'm curious if there's a single, go-to source for all of these.
I'm new to this game, or rather really old but started playing again. I want to know the abbrevations for different balloons. An example would be RZoD's. Idk what that is. Also I would love any battle arena strategies I could pull off with 600 or more of those battle pins/ points. They don't have to be beginnner strategies, I learn p quickly :)
Is there a resource that lists what all the abbreviations mean on labels. There's ones I know like SRP shelf ready packaging, R roll back, w in black for WIC, but others like scw I don't
Is there a list where all units are listed on one page incl. The abbreviation and a picture of the unit?
Here is a full list of legendary effect abbreviations, for weapons and armor, most of which are commonly used throughout the Fallout 76 trading community. This was done in an effort to help standardize shorthand for these effects, as a point of reference, and to help log price checks.
https://falloutmarket76.com/abbreviations/
For months now, itβs been a goal to track the prices given to people in [Price Check] posts and their discord counterpart, the #price-check channel. I first started out by trying to gather data from the way people were titling their posts on reddit and submitting price check requests on discord. This proved too error-prone, and there were too many variations in the way people were abbreviating legendary effects and weapons.
Nonetheless, I've effectively started logging all price checks on the discord server by requiring a specific format allowing the full names and abbreviations I came up with as inputs. Discord comes first because itβs easier to track usage and errors (one channel as opposed to thousands of different price check posts on reddit).
To see how this works on discord, see this link for in-depth info:
https://falloutmarket76.com/pricecheck/
Note: I need to update this page based on additions made to the feature, but the info is still relevant
Whatβs the point? Building a price database for an automatic price checker tool. I have 2 people who are interested in this project with machine learning/computational experience (let me know if you are too). Even when an item is βtrade only,β we try to give them a caps value to describe relative worth and build meaningful data.
These abbreviations are not set in stone. Today alone, Iβve received several suggestions for alternate abbreviations to consider. Best way to reach me about this is the #suggestion channel on the M76 discord, but Iβll be reading replies to this post.
These abbreviations are not required for any of your reddit posts but are strongly encouraged. They will be required for future Price Checks on reddit, once itβs developed. It will work a little differently here but mostly the same; realistically, Iβll finish it before the year ends.
So please, hop on over to the discord server (link here) to help us iron out the feature and maybe even requesting or answering price checks yourself.
*Note: There is a ka

For those who didn't know, we have an acronym and abbreviation list in the sidebar and wiki.
Wiki and sidebar content is being updated on a rolling basis as always. Most of which is done by the community.
In that spirit please help us update and fill the gaps in the MFA Acronym and Abbreviation list. The list was last updated ~2 years back.
The aim for this list is to be useful for MFA as it is now. Not to have 20+ dated entries for stuff people never use anymore (sorry #darkwear) on MFA.
Please have a quick look through it before commenting. Anything which isn't really used anymore? Anything you notice which is missing you would add?
This list is meant for anyone who may be new to reddit and/or specific game genres. It's purpose is to provide a list of common terms associated with reddit and/or destiny and definitions for those terms. I'm trying to be as thorough as possible. Please comment if I missed anything.

TTK - time to kill
sometimes someone on mic may say "deeps" or the "deeps" instead of DPS. "We need more deeps!", "you got the deeps?"
When someone says x was patched it means it was removed from the game or made obsolete through a patch. For instance the loot cave was patched.
Hi everyone, newbie here. I have enjoyed exploring this subreddit and reading various post on the polyamorous lifestyle however I'm not familiar with all the abbreviations used and would really appreciate it if someone could fill me in on the common ones (or direct me to a source) so I can better understand what I'm reading. Thank you
I feel like I need a cheat sheet to figure out what dungeons people are talking about in chat. And by the time I figure out what they are saying the group has filled and I'm forever alone...
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 91%. (I'm a bot)
> "The successful macro-investor must be some magical mixture of an acute analyst, an investment scholar, a listener, a historian, a river boat gambler, and be a voracious reader - reading is crucial" ~ Barton Biggs.
> History, investing strategies, philosophy, risk, complex systems, politics, biology/ecology, and everything else.... Many who know me have seen my huge library of physical books I have in my house and the stacks of books all over.

NOTICE: This thread is for discussing the submission topic. Please do not discuss the concept of the autotldr bot here.
I recognize that this might be an idiotic question, but it would really help me (and maybe others?) to have all the abbreviations and meanings in one single thread. I haven't been in the bowl for years like some of the other participants here, so I apologise if I'm a little ignorant.
Is there some list like that?
