I like music that carries one smooth key storyline, tracks like βGoldenβ, βAll Blackβ, "Wet Dreams", "Spaceship", and βNon-Stopβ respectively are among the best examples that I have listened in the context of rap music. I appreciate all of these projects because they demonstrate the versatility of rap/hip hop to tell a unique story:
Golden - Tyler and his inner demons, expressed through shock-value music
All Black - A futuristic slave story of a person stuck in the abyss of space forever with only a spaceship to talk to
Wet Dreamz - A classic story of childhood innocence, as J Cole grows up in rough circumstances
Spaceship - Kanye's early struggles with the world, and working a dead-end job, holding him back from accomplishing his creative visions
Non-Stop - The rise of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant, as a political genius during the crucial historical birth of the United States as a nation (writing 51 essays of the Federalist Papers, and proceeding to run for Secretary of State)
Sorry for the long post, I'm open to suggestions (preferably with a little blurb about what you like about the album). It doesn't necessarily have to be rap, thats just my personal favorite genre.
