A list of puns related to "List of amusement rides"

A Ferrous Wheel! :D
Out of personal interest would like to ask some questions to a theme park automation engineer.
I've been active as a controls engineer for around a year now and I'm contemplating on where to take my profession in the future. Theme parks/amusement rides are high on that list, regardless of its location globally.
So, please do tell! Thanks in advance. edit: formatting
Do i even need to explain? Like seriously, can you not wait to answer a damn call until after you get off a rollercoaster? Do you really need to record videos on it to show your friends? (Not including rollercoaster youtube channels) But why use your phone just because you want to? Itβs a ride! Enjoy it while you can, or get in line like the rest of us and enjoy it right
I'm looking for a book I remember finding in the school library around when I was in 5th grade. This would've been around 2007, give or take a couple years. I'm from the USA if that helps narrow it down. This book was a collection of a few short scary stories. Only one has stuck somewhat in my memory since then.
It goes something like this: A boy (the narrator of the story) and his friend go to a carnival or amusement park and get onto one of those old spooky dark rides. (Think something like a cheap ripoff of Disneyland's haunted mansion with generic monster and ghost animatronics) I don't recall the middle part of the story, but the ending was a little jarring. What I do recall is that something was very wrong with this ride and the two boys end up getting stuck in some sort of loop, trapped in the car moving down the dark corridors, going faster and faster as the ride went on, and unable to leave for the rest of eternity. It was weirdly unnerving to me at the time and it still kind of is. It was almost like they ended up in a carnival version of the backrooms.
And nope, this was not from the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series and I'm positive it wasn't anything by R.L. Stine, either.
EDIT: Nevermind guys, I found it myself: The book is called Dare To Be Scared and it's by Robert D. San Souci. The story I'm remembering is the 9th one, called Playland. I got some of the details wrong but I recognize the cover, so this is definitely it. Thanks for your suggestions, though.
It almost feels like it was an idea ripped straight out of South Park
Hi folks given that it is Friday the 13th (bit of trouble getting the post through last night so it's a bit belated) and the Show has been cancelled thought I would share my top 13 rides of The Royal Adelaide Show from the past 30 years. Feel free to add your own favourite rides, but please look it up and add a link as well.
