A list of puns related to "List of airship accidents"
Not sure if this is the right sub, but I wouldn't know where else to post this.
I distinctly remember reading about an accident that happened with an early flying vehicle - possibly a hot-air balloon; I think it was earlier than blimps, though I could be wrong. It was being held to the ground by the weight of many people hanging onto it, but due to wind or excessive buoyancy it lifted anyway. Most of the people trying to keep it down let go, but a few did not. Finding themselves lifted, a few of them let themselves be overcome by fear and didn't let go when they could; they were lifted to a high altitude, then inevitably lost their grip and fell to their deaths.
I can't find the page where I read about this. Do you happen to know what event I'm referring to?
I'm 100% positive it is not the accident involving the Akron, though the happenings are remarkably similar.
UPDATE - found this: https://www.pcgamesn.com/among-us/maps-layout-vents
According to pcgamesn (if anyone could verify this that would be wonderful) - โThe Airship visual tasks are: Decontaminate, Pick Up Towels, Put Away Rifles, and Put Away Pistols.โ
ANOTHER UPDATE - ITS POSSIBLE THAT AIRSHIP VISUAL TASKS COULD CURRENTLY BE BUGGED, ACCORDING TO THIS - https://youtu.be/6hIyQHANU2s

I am shocked by the length and severity of this list.
I have a car I paid $99 to bring to my local carmax lot. Autocheck showed it was accident free and one owner. I pick up the car for a test drive and like it but decide to pull the Carfax while I check out my finance options. Carfax shows a minor accident to the rear driver quarter. I also see some door alignment Issues on the opposite passenger side. I canโt see any serious damage (not that one qualified to know if I did), but I plan on taking the car to a body shop if I can get a quick review tomorrow morning.
My question is will Carmax deal at all on the vehicle in light of the accident info? I think the accident may already be baked into the price, and I know CMax doesnโt negotiate, but will they deal on MaxCare, my transfer fee, or anything else I can ask for? I was going to go credit Union or LightStream for financing, I donโt have much left to negotiate over. I probably would not have paid to ship the car with an accident, but now that I have, what can I do about the accident information?
Is it easy to find a list of airlines by accidents per kilometres travelled, that is, safety by kilometres travelled? Where? I've tried looking and it seems hard.
Some of my searches brought up lists of accidents and things like that, but that is not exactly what I want. It should list airlines and use accidents (or incidents) per total kilometres of the fleet as the statistic.
One search brought up this - https://aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/46016/is-there-a-website-with-a-list-of-all-commercial-airline-incidents - does this mean that it is a very hard question? In the sense that this would hint that the data is deliberately or unfortunately hard to access.
A lot of the searches bring up the unrelated but very prevalent answer to different variations of the question, 'How safe is air travel (in general) compared to other travel modes per distance travelled?' These hits are numerous and they of course make it harder, for me, to find answer to my question.
Please help! I hope it's not as hard as it seems.

Useful list including: Mmke sure no-one is hurt, don't apologize, take pictures, get other person's insurance info, etc.
Thank you,

Hello! I recently left my car at the dealership to get some repairs done, and the mechanic left the keys in the car overnight and it was stolen and completely wrecked. The police found the car around midnight in another city and attempted to contact me because I am the owner of the car, but I was at home and asleep. I returned their call around 3am, gave a statement in person, and they are currently investigating everything to try and find whoever did this.
Hereโs where it gets complicated: My insurance company asked me to send them a copy of the police report so that they could open a claim against the dealership. When I asked the police station for the report, they said that the final report would not be ready for awhile because they are still investigating. They said they would be happy to send me the accident report instead. When I received it, I noticed that the police had listed ME as the operator of the car when it was crashed! I called the police station and they told me that it was common practice to list the owner of the car as the operator when a car is found crashed and abandoned, and the report had likely been filled out before I had called them back. They said that if the insurance company had any questions, they could contact the police station because โobviously it wasnโt me who was actually driving the car that night.โ
Is this โcommon practiceโ like the police said, or should I wait until the full report is completed to send it to insurance? Insurance is doing their own investigation because this was a case of theft, and I really donโt want to give them any documentation that isnโt accurate or would implicate me as the driver that night. I emailed the officer who found the car to see if the accident report could be edited or amended to clarify that I was not the driver, but I havenโt heard anything back (everything is taking forever because of the long weekend). Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
