My 5 Questions:

Madam Secretary, and potentially Madam President. I wish to know about several policy issues, in your role as Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, Leader of the Free World and as a head of state of the United States of America. I have already sent a similar set of questions towards Dr. Stein of the Green Party, and I'm looking towards sending them to your Libertarian, Republican and Independant (Utah) rivals soon. For the purposes of civil discourse, please refrain from comparing to other candidates, nominees or politicians, or the actions of former presidents.

1. The issue in the South China Sea. This issue is a highly complex one involving the United Nations law of the Sea, the Phillipine's claim to the Scarborough Shoal, China's military prescence, including the creation of military bases on artificial islands and the availability of oil within those areas, claims to the Nine-Dash Line and the freedom of navigation on such a vital shipping route. Compounding the issue are the claims to territory made by state actors such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan and Malaysia. As the commander-in-chief, what resources would you use, including the United States Navy, and economic sanctions, among others, to either side with one of the claimants, or to be a mediator amongst them?

2. Relations with the Pacific. Specifically, how would you respond to nations such as Australia and New Zealand, staunch allies since the Second World War, as well as major trading partners and a geopolitical location to deliver humanitarian aid, especially for those suffering tropical storms and syclones/typhoons and hurricanes? Secondly, relations with Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Phillipines. Bear in mind, he has been accused of human rights abuses, and was rumored to have lead a death squad in his former city of Davao, as his anti-narcotics tactic when he was mayor. He has also gone on to say that he "does not give a s**t about human rights", and want drug offenders "dead or alive", without any concern of due process or the Rule of Law. How would you respond and interact with him?

3. The Taiwanese Issue. Recently, the situation in Taiwan has become volatile politically, as the new Head of State in Taiwan wants to be more independent from the People's Republic. THis stems from Beijing's view of "One country, Two Systems", as well as China's history of being the winner of the Chinese Civil War, in whichthe imcumbent Co
