A list of puns related to "List of Sites of Special Scientific Interest in Norfolk"
It will be updated regularly with new restaurants and newly added specials per location. The website was not created for profit - but intended to provide support for local establishments and service-industry workers during these harsh times. You can place an order and/or purchase gift cards easily, with direct links and contact info under each restaurant's name. Thank you for your support, Seattle!
(I'll try to compile links here from more official Catholic sources, i.e. USCCB, official religious order or approved lay group publications, etc. As /u/PluniaZ* said in an earlier post that preceded this list, "In a social media world clogged with so many self-appointed teachers, it's good to go straight to the shepherds appointed by Jesus Christ." If you have a suggestion, please send me a private message).
List Begins Here
β’ Cultural Diversity in the Church (USCCB) The twitter account there especially seems to get updated frequently.
β’ Share The Journey "Sponsored internationally by Caritas Internationalis and in the United States by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) and Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the Share the Journey campaign aims to build empathy toward migrants and refugees" (Source: site FAQ)
β’ Catholics Confront Global Poverty Action Center Take action. Catholics Confront Global Poverty is a partnership between the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Catholic Relief Services
β’ Justice For Immigrants Also from The USCCB
End List
Continue to check this post for new comments, which will indicate addition(s) to the list; these comments will be cleared after sufficient time so if there are no comments, the list has not been updated in a bit, if it is at "1" or more, there are new sites on the list.
(One last thing: shout out to our sister subs /r/OpenCatholic and /r/Roman_Catholics! *PluniaZ is a mod for both.)
As being Indian we don't have much exposure to the latest technology (at least not me in my city even though I am in CSE) so which are the website you use to know about a new paper published, cutting-edge research, a new book published which is well research for human growth you get the point
Right now I am using sites like google scholar, nasa, science buddies medium etc and for youtube, some channels are "what I've learned" "Today I found out" "Cold Fusion" "Varitasium" "It's okay to be smart" "TED " etc

Feedback would be hugely appreciated. Feature requests are welcome, too.
I have way too many projects in the bank, so I generally let community interest dictate where I place my hours.
I'm cleaning out my bookmarks and organizing all my random notes into a central location.

Hey nutrition community,
I'm working on a project on an Arabic website for providing a nutrition service for the Arab community, currently I almost completed the portion for pregnant woman Diet, and I'm wondering if I can find anywhere a scientific and accurate list of food showing how much it contain of :
- Each serving amount (in Grams)
- How much Carbs in the serving
- How much Protein in the serving
- How much Fat in the serving
The Project goal:
- Help the common person : to create their daily diet without the need to visit a dietitian center and to have the ability to choose from wide range of food tables and at the same time get his/her daily nutrition.
- Help the dietitians : to create daily diets for their clients simply and easily.
- Maybe make some money from Ads on the website.
What I already have :
I have already filled a table of about 450 entries, and the website can operate based on that for the time being.
I'm already aware of the NDB website, and have downloaded the food composition tables (for ref: https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/).
What I'm looking for :
- Any source that provide trusted and scientific food list as described above.
- I'm welling to collaborate with anyone who is interested in this field, maybe create versions in other languages.
I will not post the link to the website to avoid " Self promotion " restriction, however if you are interested to know about the project PM me and Ill reply with the link.

My dearest Hermitcraft fans, I have spent the past week and probably about 70 hours going through all 2430 videos of Hermitcraft season 6 to get together a big ol' list of everything you can take a look at in the world download, so please enjoy at your discretion.
This is very much a work in progress and I intent to keep working on it, so please let me know of anything I have missed (which I surely have) or any mistakes I've made.
Things I still plan to do:
- Going through TFC's and Impulse's videos cause I know I didn't write down everything I should have there
- Sorting the heck out of this, I kinda tried to do it in chronological order, but that is nearly impossible, so I will try to do it alphabetically by Hermit
- Figuring out which of the games still work in the download
I am watching this special and it is just way too good. I understand a lot of people canβt see it as it doesnβt really air that much and isnβt available in many streaming services (and hayu isnβt available in US).
Would anyone be interested if I transcribed the show, and included some screenshots?
I feel like I havenβt seen this ever before and IT. IS. SO. OPEN. AND. AMAZING.
I am baked as hell so excuse me if this is weird!
ALL DONE! CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://www.reddit.com/r/BravoRealHousewives/comments/bwewbt/rhoc_season_eight_special_recap/
I hope this doesn't break the rules here, but I made this post on r/autismtranslated a while back and got some very interesting feedback from the lovely people there. I wanted to share this here as well to possibly hear from more people who may have similar experiences. I would be grateful for any input :)
------
I am going to regret putting this out there, but it looks like Iβm doing it anyway. Iβm in my mid-30s and Iβve had obsessions with celebrities for most of my life. Always one at a time. Iβve tried to find the root cause of this behaviour for a long time. Recently Iβve come to suspect that I might be on the spectrum, not just because of this, but other things too. I have done a lot of research but havenβt been able to ascertain whether the way I experience my obsessions matches the experience of special interests when directed at a real-life person, so I need input from people who might know what Iβm talking about. I am not asking for diagnosis, of course. I know it's possible for the special interest to be a famous person, but I haven't found enough information about what the experience is actually like. It would just be great to know if literally anybody has ever experienced anything like my secret obsessions, the basics of which are as follows:
It's called r/fictionalscience
Objective
Non-heterosexual populations experience poorer mental health outcomes than their heterosexual counterparts. Few studies, however, have examined how mental health varies across the continuum of sexual orientation. Nor has any study examined possible links between sexual orientation and traits of impulsivity and compulsivity, which contribute to functional impairment across a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders. To address these limitations, the present study sought to identify addictive and impulsive/compulsive problems associated with sexuality in a university sample.
Methods
A 156-item anonymous survey was distributed via email to 9449 students at a public university in the United States. Sexual orientation was assessed using the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid, a modification of the Kinsey scale. Current use of alcohol and drugs, mental health status, and academic performance were also assessed, along with valid trait measures of impulsivity and compulsivity.
Results
Same-sex attractions were significantly correlated with a range of mental health problems and substance use. Additionally, same-sex attraction was significantly correlated with certain behavioral addictions (compulsive sexual behavior and binge eating disorder) as well as impulsive/compulsive traits. There was no relationship between academic performance and sexual attraction.
Conclusion
Same-sex sexuality is associated with impulsive/compulsive behavior and addiction. These health disparities may be related to stable individual differences in self-control.
