The Defenders of the Earth are Flash Gordon, Mandrake the Magician, the Phantom and Lothar. I guess they can have their useless kids there as well. They have their base and all the tech they have in the cartoon.
The My Little Ponies that are invading are your normal basic earth/pegasus/unicorn ponies, no Twilight Sparkle or Elements or Harmony.

As most of you know, next weekend is the Final Episode, of the Final Season of My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic. Truly, the Ride Never Ends but if it can be said to End, this is it. This show has meant a lot to me, it changed my life in big and small ways and I'm sure to a lot of you too, even if only through making possible this mod that we all love and share.
With this in mind, I will be hosting a 12 hour Discord stream / hangout in the lead up to the Finale from Midday to Midnight, 12th October (UTC time). Events may include

So, raids. They're fun, amirite? You go to one, capture a dynamax ready Pokémon, get lots of exp items, its a blast. It's all fun and games, right? And then come the 5 star raids. You know, the Gygantamax Buterfree and now the Gygantamax Snorlax. So, me, havinh one of the shitiest net conections on this side of Portugal, I can barely refresh the raids, and thats it, meaning that if I wanna do a Raid, I'll have to accept the dreaded AI. And I swear, my teams are either : Full fairy heallers, Eevee user+jolteon+ togepy or jolteon +torcoal+either grass type or normal type. And try as I might, most times I just lose. Either the AI team dies and we get kicked out, or I die the 3 times, and get kicked out. Buterfree took me 12 atempts, Im on the verge of 8 with Snorlax now, same results. Is there anything I can do to help my situation? Also, the offer stands. If any of you Shield players have a spare ponyta and a mimikyu, hmu. Thanks

In the final season of My Little Pony, there was a character named Grogar who was introduced. He was a super powerful, demonic sorcerer who had never been seen in the series before, and was shown as the ultimate villain. But in the final episodes, it was revealed that Grogar was in fact The Spirit of Disharmony; a villain from 7 season ago who had used magic to shapeshift in order to manipulate the new villain team into fighting the main characters. This finale involves the magic/life force of the main characters being absorbed by the villains, and the villains getting a huge boost from this.
In RoS, it is revealed that Snoke, who was supposedly the ultimate villain, was in fact Palpatine who had used the force to impersonate Snoke in order to manipulate the new villains into fighting the main characters. The leaks tell us that Palpatine absorbs the life force of Kylo/Rey, and he gets a huge boost from this.
This may very well be a coincidence but you have to admit it's a pretty damn striking one.
I mean, based on the leaks we keep getting for Gen 5, it seems like Hasbro really does want to follow up on Generation 4's success with the bronies. That is, keep Meghan McCarthy and Rob Renzetti, aim for a TV-Y7-FV rating and a darker tone mixing elements of series like Gravity Falls, Star vs. The Forces of Evil, and Steven Universe, possibly stream it exclusively on Netflix or some other streaming service like it instead of Discovery Family, retain the Mane Six and their ensemble dynamics with each other changing only Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy's species and nothing else. And most importantly, begin Gen 5 with a huge, f***ing bang via the 3D CGI movie with probably an even bigger budget than the 2017 My Little Pony movie, and then continue on from there on Netflix or another streaming service like it.
All of this leaked information is prone to change, especially since it's already leaked, anyway. But based on that information we got, shouldn't that excite you for Generation 5, instead of just make you doubt that it's going to succeed and fill in for Generation 4?
