According to it "Ahinsa Parmo Dharma" is mentioned in Hindu Mahabharata text and not in any classic Jain literature.

Do you know any Jain text reference for the same phrase or the information in the link is correct?

Liaquat–Nehru Pact

• The pact was supposed to ensure that minorities living in both East and West Pakistan(Bangladesh) were allowed to return to dispose of their property, abducted women and looted property were to be returned, forced conversions were unrecognized, and minority rights were confirmed.

Not only did Pakistan break this pact it went on an overdrive to ensure either people converted to Islam or they were harrassed until they either converted or left pakistan. Post partition minorities made up 22+% of Pakistan and by 2020 Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis and Buddhist combined formed less than %3 of the population of Pakistan. Now compare this to India not only are the minorities aka Muslim had their rights respected, their population has also grown and they were given special treatments. Infact to the point where the entire constitution was tampered with and securalism was added to it. Did Pakistan respect the minorities? NO!. Did Bangladesh upheld its minority rights? NO!. Did Pakistan change its constitution for its minority? NO!

You many say why Afghanistan?

Well have you seen what they have done to Buddhist and Buddhist temples? Have you see what they did to Sikhs and Hindus living there? They were killed for not practicing Islam. Many escaped and sought refuge in India post Talibinsation of Afghanistan.

To, the Anti CAA protestors saying why are muslims being left out why not oppressed Shia or Ahmedias. Well look up our history, majority of the muslims voted in favour of Partition regardless of their sect of Islam. The sheer distortion of our history and a lack of knowledge is to be blamed for this. So, to the minorities who escaped this and still live as a refugee in India is something that is wrong. They deserve to be a citizen of India. As our previous governments blunder to ensure safety and rights of Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Christians, Buddhists and Parsis in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan is what is to be blamed.

A Pujari of a temple at Sultanpur Lodhi, district Kapurthala was killed with a sharp weapon. A servant of the temple was also injured.

21 November, 1983 :

Two Bombs were thrown on the premises of Hanuman Mandir, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. Yamuna Nagar borders Punjab was also affected during Khalistani insurgency .

3 December, 1983 :

Idols of Shri Krishna, Balram and Subhadra were broken. The clothes of the Idols were set to fire. This happened in one of the oldest temple of Amritsar: Ram Tirath Mandir.

A woman attendant named Usha Rani was also threatened before this desecration and setting fire to the idols happened. Three Sikh men were involved in this incident.

1 February 1984 :

Mukuts of silver weighing 1 Kg were stolen from Madan Mohan Mandir, Tarn Taaran in Punjab.

21 February 1984 :

Three temples were damaged at Bathinda

27 February, 1984 :

An Idol of Shri Hanumanji in Minjwan temple in Purana Bazar, Ludhiana was found broken.

29 February, 1984 :

A hand grenade was lobbed at crowd near Shivala temple, Amritsar, on the ocassion of Shivaratri festival. 3 people died and 32 were injured.

Shivala temple which is one of the most visited temple in the city of Amritsar was attacked deliberately on Shivaratri day to cleanse maximum of Hindu devotees on that day.

This temple was once again attacked in May, 1988 on Monday where bombs exploded outside the Hindu temple killing at least 28 people and wounding 100 others.

An Idol of Lord Shiva was stolen from Shivalaya at village Sidhpur Kalan, in District Ropar.

8 April, 1984 :

Bombs were exploded in Santoshi Mata Mandir, Bathinda. Chander Bhushan, home guards volunteer was killed. Bhagat Bahadur, chowkidar was injured.

1 June, 1984 :

A Shooting incident happened near Santoshi Mata Mandir, Dhariwal, Gurdaspur. 5 people were killed and 9 were injured.

Im very new to jainism. but everwhere i look says mahavira was the founder of jainism, which is incorrect i believe. I was just looking for some clarification, how do the jain texts prove this wrong? Any help is appreciated thank you!

Im hoping someone could help me with this issue since its driving me nuts. Some of the texts that ive gotten have come in out of order and yesterday it listed the arrival of the text as a time in the future (it was 12/16 at 9:30, text said it came in at "12/17 at 7:30"). Now it seems like im not able to even able to send texts.

Ive restarted my phone, checked for updates, cleared the message cache, and double checked my timezone, and ive still had the same problems.
