A list of puns related to "List of HBO Films films"
I think this is a really unique and cool feature to scroll down and see what films are on the watch list for actors like Gal Gadot or director Adam Wingard (The Guest, Kong vs Godzilla). It's a really clever and unique way to promote and highlight some films people might not otherwise give a look to or be exposed to and it's just interesting to see what other people like or are watching.
For example, now they have Mortal Kombat star, Joe Taslim's watchlist and it's got things like Warrior, Spirited Away, Chernobyl, Fury Road, Yojimbo, Phantom Thread and others. I think it just gives a more personal touch to recommendations rather than, 'because you watched X, you might like Y'.

I know people are sick of hearing about adaptations, and I know where you are coming from. The books are perfect, just leave them alone. However some part of my ape brain will always want to see it play out before my eyes in some form or another.
Every time I go on another spin of the wheel, I am thinking in the back of my head about possible adaptations. After seeing the heights that video games have achieved as of late, I think it would be super cool to see Rollands quest play out. I am not a game designer, so I wouldn't know how to begin building this world, and how to construct gameplay and story elements to keep faithful to the books while maintaining a fun experience. It would be incredible to play as Roland and his tet.
I am fully aware that i am probably not the first one to come to this subreddit with a similar idea. I am curious though, how would you all feel about video game adaptations? What genre or gameplay elements would you like to see?
Hello murderinos, there is a film on HBO called βThe Little Thingsβ, set in the early 90s Los Angeles. Standard triggers apply for serial killer films. Iβd recommend it but mainly Iβm wondering if anyone else has seen it and if it reminds them of a case in particular. It feels familiar but maybe thatβs just a sad fact of TC. I didnβt find anything online about the script being based on anything.

I loved that moment because it totally reimagined Alec Baldwin's cutthroat character as an awkward middle manager just trying to keep morale up at his office. Barry's teacher (Henry Winkler) acted like he did a terrible job but I thought the opposite. It would have been easy to try and just copy Baldwin but this delivery made the character his own. I think within the story, the character did it unintentionally but I thought it really showed Bill Hader's talent. I almost want to see a remake (or at least a stage adaptation) of GGR with that same tone.
A long time ago, I also saw someone did a cover of "I just can't wait to be king" from The Lion King except it was sung by an adult male in a menacing tone (as if it was sung by Scar). It turned a joyful song about a kid being excited to grow up into an ominous one about a warlord/conquerer lusting for power. I can't find it online but I remember thinking it was really cool.
