Was wondering if all the eps of dawsons creek is in 4.3 rectangular or wide-screen full screen
I appreciate this is borderline on rule 2, but I figured it could prompt a discussion on the most 'film literate' TV shows, or shows mentioning films you wouldn't expect.
Basically I recently started re-watching the show for the first time in many years and had forgotten just how many films are mentioned/shown/quoted etc. I couldn't find any resource that has them all in one place (IMDB does individual episodes) so figured I had nothing better to do with my afternoon off.

Are there any other shows out there that aren't specifically about film, that is so richly peppered with film references?
I believe it was an earlier episode that I remember really enjoying. Anyone have a clue which ep number this was?

I don't even know what the episode would be about, but they could write it around the title.
Paula Cole would probably be pissed though, cuz I hear she doesn't like the association "I don't Want To Wait" has with Dawson's Creek. But if the Legends do ever travel to Capeside, it would be a perfect chance for John Wesley Shipp to guest star!
Can't help but feel the writers will use overused subversive writing techniques to bottle the Otis Maeve relationship & have them end up as best friends rather than in a relationship in the season finale. Feels the show is heading in that direction with the constant difficulties Maeve & Otis go through, it seems to be the theme & hint at end game.
