A list of puns related to "List of British game shows"
Pretty sure this was a short run British drama, like 6 episodes. It was before I moved to the US, so I'm thinking nineties.. probably not 94-97.
I believe the protagonist got disks in the post with new parts of the game? New tasks? Something like that.
I recall it being on quite late night, and being pretty unsettling. Managed to remember the kid's show Moondial by myself, but I really can't recall this one.
You must finish a game before starting another game.
"Finishing" a game means reaching end credits or whatever goal makes sense for that game.
You may play the games on your backlog in any order you like and move them around if you have scheduled them.
Yes finishing the new game, if purchased, is also apart of the challenge.
New games = A game you do not own yet and games releasing in 2019. So Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 7 both count as new. If you do not own FF7 yet.
You may earn a game purchase and save it. (ie You want know you want Shenmue 3 in August, but save your first new game credit. Once you beat 3 more backlog games you earn another game credit and use that for KH3 or RE2.)
A backlog title is any game you already own and have not finished yet.
Older games you do not own are considered "New"
EDIT: The goal is not to finish 12 or 20 games per se. More to allow you to focus on a select set of games. No more than 20 games on the list total. Try to focus on 1 game a month so you do not feel rushed, and ways to earn new games, as a little reward. It is more of a 12 game challenge from a list of 20, as another way of looking at it. and yeah check out that /r/12in12 sub!
You do not actually need to dedicate yourself to this challenge, it is just a fun what if. Make your list as if you hypothetically were going to do the challenge.

I have noticed the shows Taboo and Humans sort of mix the two now. Lead followed by alphabetical.
Was just visiting London for vacation with my family and fell in love with your game shows on TV. Particularly Tenable, The Chase, and another one like the chase but no teams?
Anyway, now that Iβm home I miss them.

Something about the stale format, the unbearable smug presenters (particularly Lovejoy), the sheer blandness of it, the appalling forced banter, the awkward guests. It's just so beige and middle class. I can't believe it's on Channel 4 to be honest, who I've always thought to be fairly original in their programming.
I just heard on WhatsApp that a friend is having a house party on Monday with a theme of TV game shows (I assume British ones). I really only watch The Chase nowadays, but sometimes watch old game shows from the 90s because I like what they wear. I wouldn't mind making a bit of an effort because there's someone going to the party that, well, I just want to make a bit of an effort.
I'm not super crafty, so I was thinking of either using things in my house currently or going down the Scope to get a costume. For ease, I was thinking of dressing as Bradley Walsh from The Chase (with some question cards), but that doesn't feel like much of an effort. Maybe that yellow fellow from Catchphrase? But my budget is low so I can't really afford anything too different from a human.
Thanks for any help or advice.
It was basically prank videos before prank videos were a thing. I loved this show when I was a teenager, even though, looking back, the characters did some douchey and rude things to random people. But maybe the show was fake/staged after all?
I've heard we can't link videos here, so all I'm gonna tell you is: go on youtube and type Neg's Urban Sports, The Annoying Devil and Militant Black Guy. They were my three favourite contestants in the show.

Please somebody help
Hi, I was curious if anyone has a comprehensive list of all the anime SNES games that have been released? Much appreciated.
This is a Thrones subreddit so clearly there is going to be pro-GOT bias, but i've been struck while checking out the various "best of the 2010s" lists that different sites/publications are putting out right now, how relatively low Thrones seems to be placed (in some lists Thrones is borderline top 10, and i've seen it ranked as low as 30(!!!) on one list). it's also weird in the same year where there was such massive anticipation for the final season and the show won a Best Drama Series Golden Globe (undeserved for the season in question but still lol) how little fanfare there now seems to be for a show that at one point had a legitimate case to be considered among the best shows of all time and is seen as the last true "EVERYBODY has seen it"/watercooler show
Still, in your honest opinion what other shows that you've watched this decade matched or surpassed Thrones' overall run quality-wise? in the various lists i've come across, recurring names like Fleabag, Atlanta, Breaking Bad, The Americans and The Leftovers keep popping up among others - of these i've only seen Atlanta and Breaking Bad and i think both are deservedly higher although Atlanta has only done 2 seasons so it hasn't had to try to keep churning out solid work for 5+ seasons (and inevitably drop in quality as a result)
random thought: catching Thrones clips on YouTube and re-watching the Tyrion/Dany scene in Season 7 where they talk about Drogo/Jorah/Daario/Jon, and the "he's too little for me" Jon Snow dig reminded me of the 5 or 6 "Kit Harrington is short" jokes that D&D put in the final 2 seasons - hell their only on-screen cameo in the series was for them to laugh at one of these jokes as Tormund said it in Season 8. they literally seemed to put more thought into making height jokes than coherently wrapping up the series lol
