Bhuj: The Pride of India
Abhishek Dudhiyaβs film unfolds during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Ajay Devgn plays Vijay Karnik, a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force who rebuilt the Bhuj airbase with the help of 300 local women. The ensemble cast features Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubati, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk and others. Ajayβs last release, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, was also a war film set in the past.

In the vein of Life in aβ¦ Metro, Anurag Basu directs an ensemble piece featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi and others. The black comedy pits four players βin a high stakes game where nothing is a coincidence and everything is planned.β Basu had last directed Jagga Jasoos (2017), starring Ranbir Kapoor.

Sadak 2
Mahesh Bhatt makes his directorial comeback with the sequel to Sadak (1991). The new instalment stars Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur alongside Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. The film catches up with Duttβs Ravi, a former taxi driver whoβs battling depression and joins hands with a young girl to expose a godman. Makarand Deshpande has joined the cast as the new villain.

Abhishek Bachchan plays a scamster based on stockbroker Harshad Mehta. Kookie Gulatiβs film is backdropped on the 1992 securities scam and follows Mehtaβs rags-to-riches journey in Mumbai. Ileana DβCruz and Nikita Dutta play the female leads.

Torbaaz
The action thriller features Sanjay Dutt as an army officer. Directed by Girish Malik, it tells the story of child suicide bombers in Afghanistan. It is the first Hindi film to be shot in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.

Iβve been missing cinemas so badly recently to the point where Iβve been watching recordings of people reacting to bollywood films in cinemas on youtube π
Iβve seen that the loudest applause and cheering is always for SRKβs entrances and I was watching one of Gully Boy and the audience were literally howling at all of Safeenaβs lines - they just couldnβt get enough of her.
So I wanted to ask if anyone has any memorable cinema experiences??? It could be the reactions to jokes that just landed perfectly, iconic entrances, any star cameos (this reminds me I would have loved to watch deewangi deewangi from OSO for the first time in the cinema) or just any moments where you could feel the whole audience had goosebumps
I was thinking of the song from the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she takes place in Canada and raves about whatever you for FY 2016-17. I am using a Bollywood film where she takes place in advance!
Peeping Tom is a film characterised by its vibrant colour scheme and taboo subject matter. At the time, Peeping Tomβs tale of a tormented young man and his insatiable desire for murder was described as evil, beastly, depressing, nauseating and pornographic. It has since undergone a major critical reappraisal and for my money, it is one of the most gorgeous horror films out there.
Peeping Tom stars German-Austrian actor Karlheinz BΓΆhm as Mark, a serial killer who is terrorising the young, sexually alluring women of London. Heβs like an awkward mix of Michael Caine and Peter Lorre, with the voice of Kif from Futurama. His favourite hobby, aside from murder, is video photography. Indeed, he works as a focus puller on movie sets, but even in his spare time, he never leaves home without his camera. Mark never knows; The urge to film or to kill could strike at any moment and he needs to be prepared. You see, Markβs hobbies are not mutually exclusive. Not only does he prey on unsuspecting women, he likes to immortalise their final moments on video, capturing the very essence of total terror, as he penetrates them with a blade hidden within the tripod. The film follows Mark as he succumbs to his uncontrollable nature, while attempting to subdue it as the nice lady from downstairs takes a romantic interest in him.
Powell and Pressburger were one of Britainβs greatest directing assets in the 1940s. Together they directed some of the most famous and well regarded films of the era; A Canterbury Tale, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, Black Narcissus and A Matter of Life and Death, to name but a few. Peeping Tom was one of Michael Powellβs first solo efforts after disbanding his winning streak partnership with Pressburger.
What he created was yet another work of art, though notably more taboo than the aforementioned dramas. Peeping Tom deals openly with sex, lust and death. Dodgy old fellers are seen perusing backdoor catalogues of nudey ladies, the scenes chock full of tongue-in-cheek dirty humour. Mark moonlights as a photographer for such pornography and canβt help but murder those he feels a sexual attraction towards. On the surface, it sounds like a fall from grace in comparison to Powellβs classy backlog, but the film is exquisitely stylised and more influential than it was first given credit for.
