It is not known how many died but is is believed to be 19-21 and about 30-100 Injuries.

Cited from a, then 18 year old Redcross Worker (Johann Plankenbüchler):"On August 2nd, 1960 I was assigned to the ambulance transport as RS (Rettungssanitäter). My driver was Franz Jorde, an older and prudent driver. The day shift had ended without any special events.
But that was to change suddenly in the late afternoon of August 2nd, 1960. At 4:45 p.m., the most serious tram accident in the history of the City of Vienna occurred at the intersection of Billrothstrasse and Döblinger Hauptstrasse. A train on line 39, which was running on the sloping Billrothstrasse and consisted of a railcar and a sidecar, drove through the stop in front of the junction at high speed due to a brake failure and sped through a right-hand bend shortly afterwards, with the tram jumping off the rails and onto a straight one the train departing from the stop on the same line collided."https://www.facebook.com/roteskreuzwienwest/posts/1873815919300753/
A timeline from the Redcross Facebook posts shows that just around 15 minutes prior, the tram encountered its first brake loss. Some riders felt uneasy and left the the tram three stops earlier. At 4:43 the tram stopped at its last stop, before the impending disaster, at "Haltestelle Peter-Jordan-Straße" the train almost rolled through it, but stopped at the last possible second. After it departed, it was reported that at 4:44 it was witnessed to be speeding down Billrothstraße, panic inside the wagons caused people to jump off. It passed another stop at full speed jumps out of the tracks at a right hand turn and crashed into another tram at Döblinger straße that just departed its stop. It took them about 4-3 minutes to call emergency services with the call coming in at 4:51. By 5:40 10 deaths have been reported, 30 seriously and 50 with minor injuries.

Edit: I wouldn’t be complaining if it was a few stops out of the zone, but only 1 stop out is just preying on forgetful people and tourists (one stop outside of the CBD) to meet quotas instead of those who consistently fare evade till the end of the line. Combine that with the fact that the messaging on trans is not clear about this and it’s a little predatory.
The best I can find was this video on youtube, but it sounds like it's just recorded from the speakers of the tram and has this annoying beeping sound. There's also a video on the RATP youtube channel but it only has a few of the songs.
It's one of my favourite parts of Paris so far and I'd love to hear them in their original quality and learn more about them.
