In The Talos Principle, a library document references 'The History of Rasselas, Prince of Abissinia' by Samuel Johnson (1759). It inspired me to read more, and in it I found another passage that describes the game itself with eerie perfection

A few questions about reading "The Life of Samuel Johnson"
I am going to start reading it this week and I had a few questions for those who have read it. 1. Does it require a lot of background information/notes to be understood or does Boswell assume the reader knows nothing in advance? 2. Is there a better unabridged version than the Penguin Classics and Everyman's Library versions? The Penguin copy has too small print but has notes and the Everyman's has good print size but no notes (from what I can tell). 3. Any tips for reading it?
Thanks ahead of time

I always wanted to do a movie about the life of Samuel Johnson starring Samuel Jackson.
He was a British linguist who compiled the first dictionary. He also had a sardonic sense of humour and some believe he had Tourette's. The tagline, of course, would be "Is Mother-Fucker One Word or Two?!"

Samuel Johnson says puns are the lowest form of comedy
Ok so this line just popped in my head but I can't think of the episode. Its in an Archer v Barry/other Barry fight and Barry takes a second in the fight to say that line. "You know Samuel Johnson says puns are the lowest form of comedy, but for me its murder" any ideas on what episode? Or I'm gonna have to just watch all the Barry episodes.

Samuel Johnson once wrote 'there is in London all that life can afford'. What can you do in another place that you definitely can't do in London?
