i read a fanfic a while ago where the mc works for two brothers as their manservant. The two brothers are both noblemen, lords, one is actually blind. The mc used to be from a noble family himself, living in the manor that the brothers now live in, but smg happens and his whole family is reduced to live as common folk. So as a way to help out his family he agrees to work for them. The brothers themselves have this fixation/obsesion with him, e.g. they argue over who the mc should serve and jealous when he serves the other. there is obvious tension between the mc and the brothers but its not a erotica or filled with sex. in fact, the most that has happend so far is d mc giving the blind brother a chaste peck on d lips cos he asked him to. anyway hope this gives a overall vibe/image of what i want.
pls no governesses/apprentices, they have a higher social status than a servant.
can be a king/queen/royalty and their servant, just any romance where 1 has a really higher social standing than the other.

i've read a few hp and one sherlock fic inspired by the show but finding books with a similar storyline is whole other story. hannibal/will are not rlly a romance in the classic sense but there are strong feelings and a connection between them so im gonna classify it as such. im looking for a book with a storyline/pairing that has a serial killer/pyschopath becoming interested/obsessed with the lead whoever they are. Some examples of such a storyline are:

yes ik some of these r fics but they were better than most published books i've read. pls no main leads that r whiny/annoying, i abhor those kinda characters. anyway thats all!

I started reading it when I was 17 and I'm 30 now and it's still my favourite thing though I like F/F erotica too, now. When I was younger F/F erotica made me uncomfortable because I was really uncomfortable with my body but I like it now that I'm more comfortable with myself and know how to orgasm. M/F erotica I've always found gross. Everything else checks out with the "are you a lesbian" except that and it's a big part of why I thought I was straight for so long. Is this a thing? Really looking for honest thoughts on this. Has anyone else had experience first exploring their sexual orientation through writing? I don’t want to be problematic, as someone who has identified for most of my life as a straight cis woman- but my interest and curiosity is honesty sincere. I’m happy monogamously engaged (he’s a straight cis man) and this seemed like the best way I could think of to start to explore a side of my sexuality that I’ve always been curious about.
I’d also love to post the WIP and finished product online eventually as I feel interaction and feedback in the community is part of the draw for me- but again the last thing I want to be is problematic to the community I’m trying to learn more about and potentially discover my identity in.
