A list of puns related to "Lebanon War"
To be clear, I'm asking about attitude, regardless of what comments they make about it. For example, whether it will be harder for people to have casual conversations with Israeli users (as is quite common here) while in the background there's something like last May, or even 2006 Lebanon war or worse?
The documentary Wine and War was first released in 2020 under a very limited film festival release. It was basically impossible to watch for the past 6-12 months.
A few hours ago, it was finally released. It is free to watch on Amazon Prime in the US and several other countries. Apple TV has it as well.
I'd been eager to watch it after learning about Musar on this subreddit. Based on the first 15 minutes, it is a well made history of the region, and opens with a charming interview with Serge.
I feel like from what Iβm reading, it seems like it could start any day?? And the way its being described it sounds like lebanon would be able to completely overwhelm Iron dome with thousands of rockets a day. Is that actually all true? Or is this just like media fear mongering?
Obviously, my fear from abroad is that with the collapse of the state and the looming Iranian nuclear program, Hezbollah will use any excuse to turn its guns on Israel in order to invite a war with Israel and consolidate power before their power is truly threatened from within. Lebanon is already basically a broken trash heap where everyone who can flee is trying to do just that. The devastation brought about by a conflict with Israel can be viewed as simply a cynical means to a vision of Shia domination of the state by Nasrallah and Khamenei.
Would love to hear what you guys think.
With the government being made up of the same people that caused the paralysis, and todays major confrontation between LF/Hezbollah/Amal, is it foreshadowing a civil war?
