The battleship The Bismarck was launched by the nazis in 1939. On May 1941 the vessel was sent on it's first offensive operation. A lengthy battle ensued with the British who sunk her after a group of aging WW1 biplanes struck her rudder with a torpedo. She eventually went down with over 2000 men.

"sink the bismarck" is a documentary, bismarck class was a part of the plan Z , the most formidable battleship in the world 1941
https://www.naval-encyclopedia.com/ww2/nazi-germany/Bismarck-class
No the movie sink the bismarck is not a documentary it's a movie http://www.kbismarck.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=97 (not sure about the LΓΌtjens part even if I don't think he was a real hardcore nazi for me he was still a complice[correct me if I got it bad])
the bismarck wasn't part of the plan Z,the H class battleship were a part of it (6 H-39 class battleship were plan,2 got they construction started but got both canceled in september 1939[the H and J unit])
and I think the most formidable part is pretty objective

Would a battleship such as the KMS Bismarck survive an iceberg collision similar to the one of Titanic?
Sure 60mm bow armour bellow the water line compared to mere 6mm of the Titanic, but would it even play a role when a 50,900 ton beast with an insane momentum (presumably traveling at full 30kn) is faced by an even bigger 1.5 million ton monstrosity?
