A list of puns related to "Last Orders (band)"
I started the game as a duke and was working my way up to emperor, and during that time apparently someone really dropped the fucking ball on Catholicism, because the church dropped down to like 20% religious authority which caused countless unending heresies and religious revolts to start happening, the Byzantines took this time to move in and conquer most of europe, including France which I'm part of.
Eventually with murder I overthrew the king, and fought a war of independence against the BE, slowly but eventually winning because they were in a civil war. Apparently at some point after they made contact with Scandinavia, everyone in the BE became secretly reformed pagan, they had until this point been pretty chill letting everyone in europe be catholic, but that changed real fast as everyone under the BE suddenly became pagan.
Now the pope is basically crashing on my fucking couch, there are constantly heresies that my priests must put out like fire burning a pine forest in a drought, all while fighting massive raiding armies that never stop coming, and every single order like the Templars, and the Teutonic order basically are almost wiped out to a few hundred men every couple of years when the entire pagan world declares holy war on me, and I just barely fight them off. Every son I have goes war focus and ends up being 30+ military, amazing duelists and brutally scarred because of the constant unending fighting, and almost none live past 40. I have to go through several lustful wives just to keep up the demand for sons to continue fighting these wars.
This is some fucking warhammer 40k shit, a grim dark future where there is only war.
Also I'm curious what you think about the playlist cover, I like to make custom ones for all my playlists.
The time was 6PM, so I expected a long line to In-N-Out, and indeed, the wait was probably longer than ever, it would start on Broxton, turn into Weyburn, then into Gayley and finally into the inner lot to go around the buildings.
Just at the Weyburn/Gayley corner (where many people think the line might start), we had a driver in a VW cut right in front of me (especially easy when there are pedestrians crossing).
I and 10 drivers behind me were pissed, everyone started honking to absolutely ZERO reaction from the VW.
I complained to the staff who takes the orders (they usually stand in the middle of the lot), and then when it was my turn to pay, the cashier said that the driver paid for my order.
I'm not sure if that really happened, or whether that's something In-N-Out would do as a policy to dissolve the tension (Thats much more likely it was staffโs doing that the drivers). If the driver felt bad and apologetic, I would actually prefer if she got out of the line and went to the back, I certainly didn't need anyone paying for my burgers, plus it's unfair to all the drivers behind me.
Hi guys. The title may sound very weird, but hear me out. I just need to vent on here. I've noticed a few people on this subreddit who have shared their terrible experiences with Menulog, Uber, and other food delivery services.
Well, last night I had my own shitty experience.
It all started when I attempted to make an order through Menulog and buy some Maccas. I made the order at around 8pm. The delivery time was estimated to be between 8:25pm - 8:45pm. Immediately after the order went through, Menulog tells me that there is a driver assigned to collect my order. And I waited.
8:45pm rolls around. The order status is still pending on "Driver Assigned".
I wait for nearly an hour until my order status abruptly changed from "Driver Assigned" to "Delivered". My order never arrived. It claimed that my order was delivered at 8:29pm. At the time the order abruptly changed to "Delivered", the time was 9:40pm. Until then, I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking that either the service forgot to update the order status or maybe the driver was running behind.
So I rang my boyfriend to pick me up and go to the location to see what's going on and just get food from there. I walk in and I see at least six delivery bags just sitting at the counter and the Maccas staff just adding the bags to the counter. I found my order that was supposed to be delivered to me. Sitting on the counter along with the rest of the bags. No delivery driver in sight.
I tell one of the staff members at Maccas the situation. I compared the pickup number reference and showed her. She was able to remake my food free of charge. And after I collected my remade food and waited for my boyfriend's food to be made (as he ordered separately from me), another guy walked into the restaurant also dealing with the same issue as I was, trying to find where his order is amongst the other bags.
So I get home, eat my food at around 10:30pm.
Then at 11pm, I get a message from Menulog stating that my food is on the way...
And then, shortly afterwards, a delivery guy rocks up at my house... with the order I initially made through Menulog... three hours after said order was placed through... 2.5 hrs after it was supposed to be delivered...
Once the initial order was delivered at my house, Menulog then just casually changed my delivered time from 8:29pm to 11:06pm.
Unbelievable. This was the first time I had such an appalling experience with food delivery before. When I saw other people o

Fluff
This has been a huge help for me. I'm sure we can all agree that ADHD diagnosis and treatment is not very ADHD friendly! The controlled nature of the drugs due to the abuse by neurotypicals makes it hard to manage. The fact I have to get a new scrip signed off every month instead of a standing repeat prescription like most other meds actively gets in the way of treatment. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's ever ran out of meds, and the resulting lack of motivation etc. without treatment lead to an awful feedback loop that made it harder to actually go and get the meds to fix the problem!
Actual Content
So for me, I get my little bottle every 28 days. I take out 7 days worth, move them to last months bottle, and put that to the side. In 21 days, I'll empty my new bottle. On the day I do that, I'll contact my GP/Pharmacy and ask for my next prescription to be filled. The physical act of having to get the other bottle is my reminder that I'm almost out and to get more. That way, I still have 7 days of meds to last while my next prescription is filled.
I haven't once missed a dose since I discovered this, I hope it helps some of you out!
TL:DR because you also have ADHD; Put a weeks meds aside each month, when you "run out" a week early, order new meds and the "spare" weeks pills last till your prescription is ready. Never be without meds again :)
So my last order of the day takes me to highlands (itโs the nicer area in Lakeland). Itโs two large pizzas and a cake(daughters holding the cake Iโm holding the pizzas ). Almost all my orders are โleave at door โ But this one said โhand to customerโ
We walk up to the door and this Old man opens the door butt ass naked my daughter dropped the cake and ran back to the car screaming(I donโt blame her I felt like doing the same thing) he honestly acted like it was totally normal, I was in such shock.
He didnโt care about the dropped cake he said donโt worry about it and tipped $15. BUT, Idk what to doโฆ..this should be reported to doordash support correct ?????????
This LPT is not universally true, in fact, nicer restaurants would more likely to take better care of you in later hours of service due to many factors. (e.g. more culinary/customer training, better pay/tips, benefits, better staffing, etc.)
This LPT is for the cheap ones that you see all the time. Fast food places, chain restaurants, sports bars, pubs, and all the other middle-to-low food options that exist for quick, cheap, and convenient service all across the world. In the US especially, most of these shops are paying employees poverty wages, understaffing them, overworking them, and keeping them from any worthwhile benefits.
There isnโt a chef in the back, thereโs a stoned 22-year old named James whoโs barely able to pay rent. 3 of his coworkers didnโt show up, and heโs closing and opening because he was demanded to, not because he was scheduled to. Kitchen closes at 11, heโs got everything cleaned, wrapped, and ready to go. 10:49 rolls around and a party of 6 sits. James is now staying at work as long as your party is, and your food is no longer being made with love.
Edit: a lot of comments along the lines of
-โIf you donโt want to do your job, then donโtโ
-โFind a new place to workโ
-โIf the kitchen closes at Xpm, thatโs how long you cook!โ
-โThe boss shouldnโt do that! Thatโs not on the customer!โ
-โTalk to your owner! Youโre obviously upset!!!โ
All of you absent-minded idiots missed the part where this is a problem for me personally. Come into my restaurant and Iโll cook you a great meal 2 minutes before close. I cannot say the same for your jalapeรฑo poppers at TGI Fridayโs at 12:30am. Iโve been in the industry a while, and I know what youโre in for, and guess what? Itโs sub-par.
If you took this post personally, you know exactly why. Youโre a Karen. This post was a warning to YOU, as the person paying for the service. I cannot personally change the fact that Iโm presenting to you in this LPT. None of this is an issue to me at all, but rather for my industry peers who are busting their ass for people like you who have no courtesy, and would rather challenge systematic problems (that canโt be fixed) than showing kindness to a stranger who has no control over big-picture decisions. You are incapable of sympathizing with customer service workers, and they see that. You think that those who are down on their luck will take care of you when youโre belittling them? Keep showing your ass and demanding shit and see how good your chicken sandwi

Mr. Jonathan G. Katz
Secretary U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
450 Fifth Street NW
Washington, DC 20549-0609
Re: Release No. 34-49175; File No. S7-07-04 โ Competitive Developments in the Options Markets
Dear Mr. Katz:
Citadel Investment Group, L.L.C. (โCitadel Groupโ) welcomes this opportunity to comment on Commission Release No. 34-49175 (the โReleaseโ). The Release discusses recent changes in the listed options markets and seeks public comment on whether the Commission should take action to improve efficiency and competition in these markets.
Volume has increased in listed options markets in recent years due to improvements in liquidity, transparency, and competition in these markets. The ability of investors to efficiently use the listed options markets is an important cornerstone of our national market system. It is thus crucial that the Commission implement reforms that will further this trend. Specifically:
โข The firm quote rule would best serve liquidity and transparency if it applied to all listed option order types up to the displayed size of any quote.
โข The practice of payment for order flow creates serious conflicts of interest and should be banned.
โข Internalization without meaningful price improvement reduces competition, limits price discovery, leads to market fragmentation, and should be banned.
โข The Commission should not yet require the listed options markets to quote in decimals because decimalization would overload systems already pushed to their limits and lead to less transparent and shallow markets.
Citadel Group welcomes the issuance of the Release and the Commissionโs other efforts to consider and open for discussion fundamental issues relating to market structure and regulation. The Commissionโs willingness to focus on these difficult issues and ask the hard questions works to ensure that the U.S. markets remain the strongest and most efficient in the world.

In Ireland so right now Pubs have to be closed at 8pm. I call last orders at 7:30 and stop service at 7:45. Apparently I'm an arsehole for this?
*SPOILER*
I am kinda sad. I was hoping after the abrupt end of the first arc with Alita getting blown up, they would explain everything that happened and continue the story in a good way.
I have heard that the most recent 2 Arcs are not that good tho and change the feeling of the story a lot.
