A list of puns related to "Lalitha Kumari (pastor)"
I am probably a type O said the rabbit
The rabbit looks around and says, "I think I'm a typo!"
The long-coming sequel to the previous post "Why Lorgar is so interesting to me as a Pastor."
"...if any man come to me, and hate not his father, his mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple..." - Luke 14:26
In my previous post on this topic, I discussed the concept of a "Personal relationship with God," the state of a believer realizing that the Almighty is not simply a voice in their head, but an independent Entity with a will of its own - and how Lorgar, for all his characterization as the "Primarch of Faith," completely fails to attain this state, of how the Aurelian seems to completely lack the concept of "not my will, but thine."
In stark contrast to Lorgar's quite pitiful walk of faith, there is one character in 40k that I feel serves as a quite useful example of a personal relationship with one's deity, of complete and utter submission to the will of the divine - and of complete sacrifice of all that would hinder one's walk of faith:
Kharn the Betrayer.
(Mandatory disclaimer: I in no way promote religious violence, any opinions stated here are purely thought exercises and discussion of fictional characters in the context of how they can exemplify certain virtues or vices.)
Why is this? Simply put, it is because time and again, Kharn proves to the entire galaxy that he truly loves his god with all of his heart, with all of his mind, with all of his soul, and all of his strength - that he holds no will higher than the will of bloody Khorne, not even his own.
In The First Wall, we see Kharn evangelizing for the sake of his god, preaching not of the Twelfth Legion and its customs, nor of Angron and the rite of the Nails, but instead simply the 'good news' of the Eightfold Path, pure and unadulterated.
At Skalathrax, Kharn breaks not one but two Legions, willingly sacrificing his own kin so that the will of the blood god may be done in unending, ceaseless slaughter, regardless of any wisdom of the mortal world or concern for life or limb.
In the short story Wrath of Kharn,(which I am still not quite sure if it is canon or if it's simply a production of 1d4chan) we see him reject the temptations of Slannesh when all around him fall, not through any will of his own or special blessing, but instead simply through sheer, bloody-minded(ha) love of Khorne.
In The Red Path, the Betrayer rejects the insistence of Abaddon that Kharn fo

I think I remember that Joe did a semester of seminary or Bible college. Is that right? Other than that, there have been no Duggar religious leaders, right? Theyβre either all used car salesmen, house flippers, or in law enforcement. This seems very strange.
Itβs that day of the year for many an annual/semiannual/otherwise special visit to church to celebrate Jesusβs (alleged) birthday! I said at the start of last yearβs AMA that 2020 sure was a doozy of a year, and 2021 just doubled down on 2020, so I am not even going to lay any bets down on 2022. I hope that however you celebrate the holiday season allows you some joy and cheer in sending off 2021.
I have been doing these on Christmas Eve for several years now and still absolutely love doing themβthey are a genuine highlight of my holiday. I hope to bring a little bit of levity and good humor to your Christmas Eve, wherever you may be, with this yearβs annual Christmas Eve AMA. So, ask me anything about Christianity, the church, the Bible, what lies at the end of a rainbow, you name it.
A bit about my backgroundβI have been in church ministry for the past twelve years, ten of them as an ordained pastor. In that time, I have served four different congregations, mostly as a solo pastor but also in interim and associate pastor-type roles. In short, I have definitely both seen some stuff and learned some stuff.
And, as always, my usual two disclaimers: 1) I am doing this solely in my personal capacityβI am not an official spokespastor for my denomination, region, publisher, or Christianity itself. And 2) I will not answer a question in a way that would necessitate betraying the confidentiality or privacy of the people for whom I am their pastor.
My last five yearsβ worth of AMAs: 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020

Edit: Thatβs all the time I have this Christmas Eve! I will try to get to one or two more questions if I have time later, but I want to thank y'all for the conversation so far. If you have not yet gotten vaccinated against covid-19 and are able to do so, please get vaccinated! If you h

Aaron Musser the pastor at this church gave a sermon in full drag and what an amazing sight it was, the event was promoted on fb beforehand by the church.
βTOMORROWβSeminarian Aaron is our preacher, and heβs preaching in drag! We invite you to wear garments/accessories that make you feel 100%, like the best version of yourself." was posted on the fb page of the church.
The sermon was live-streamed on Zoom, Musser said "Preaching in drag is a theological reflection on joy: Joy overflows so abundantly, it canβt help but make itself known. Weaving together the dayβs theme, queer theory, and lectionary texts, we will βdress rehearseβ for joy."
This event took place on December 13th of last year. "Joy is difficult to feel, itβs vulnerable. But isnβt it so beautiful?β - Musser

You can see that on their public Facebook page. I knew that it was being mentioned in other posts about people not knowing where he works but knew he was a pastor.
The nurse asked the rabbit "What is your blood type?"
"I am probably a type O" said the rabbit.
The rabbit said, "I am probably a type O".
