Hi, first of all I'm just a member of this community,
$LAIKA coin is a very young project right now and it has funny story behind. When I first joined to the project I was so bullish about it, bought some billions coins and waited for it too moonshot.
Woke up one morning and see that the price was literally at the bottom. Original dev has gone and sold his hand. Everybody start to panic sale for sure. I thought this is the end.
What happened next just blow my mind. Firstly the community take over the project and started to build everything from scratch, they did a huge amount of work. Just the fact that they were able to list the $LAIKA coin on Coingecko and CoinMarketCap is fascinating. Just imagine the community pushed the project and they work did pays off. Secondly and it happened today, I woke up and see that it is absolutely mooning. The market cap is healthy again and it starts to attract more people.
This is the brief story of what happened if you look at the price charts.
The moral is this: don't panic sale and do your job. If you believe in project and community that's all that matters in long run. Make your choice consciously. Peace

So what happened a few hours ago...We promoted Laika coin and some of this included images of Virgin Galactic's ship (related to a giveaway that probably could have been done better).Apparently we promoted it so hard that Virgin Galactic's stock price pumped +4.7%(exhibit A: nasdaq article https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/why-virgin-galactic-stock-flew-higher-today-2021-04-26exhibit B: Motley Fool https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/04/26/why-virgin-galactic-stock-took-off-like-a-rocket-t/ )
We didn't know about this and neither did the dev. The dev claimed that his hosting provider doxxed him to Virgin Galactic and shut down the website. Of course this happened after a drop in price. In telegram, someone mentioned the site was down and then the whales started to sell. Death threats started up in telegram and the price was falling. The dev decided to cash out fearing death or legal troubles. HOWEVER... he locked the telegram, he "nuked" his twitter and he shut down the reddit... not cool.
I asked for proof.. then we noticed the articles. Oops.. sorry for doubting you dev.
Virgin Galactic came at the webhost probably because the site didn't specifically say they are not affiliated with Virgin Galactic in the giveaway (a lofty marketcap goal that was relatively reasonable).While the website got shut down, whales started to sell and price fell. Dev started getting death threats. I can imagine the doxxing (related to the webhost and virgin), death threats and theats of legal action around the same time are reasonable FUD for a dev, so I don't fault him for selling. I do not agree with how he didn't announce his intent and instead silenced the community. To be brief, he is OUT.
That leaves us with $LAIKA coin.... for those who can stomach it. the liquidity pool is locked and ownership was renounced. 3% of all trades are redistributed to holders 5% of all trades are auto-locked inside liquidity provider on PancakeSwap
if you buy it now you're in for one hell of a discount -91% 24 hour change and its still slated for coinmarketcap and coingecko.

Seems ok to me. For now there is no reason to believe comments saying "my 90%" unit does not crit". I'd like to see those on some bigger sample than "3 hits in RTA".
Laika rises again! LaikaCoin ($LAIKA) is 100% community owned since dev abandoned the project and left Laika to die. But the community rose to fight back and resurrect Laika!
