The Koolhoven F.K.58 was an aircraft contracted by France and produced by the Dutch N.V. Koolhoven company. I would put this aircraft at 1.7 - 2.3. It would be another low tier fighter for France, but be unique in that it is not of French origin, but was used by the ArmΓ©e de l'Air during the Battle of France, although in very limited service.
History
In the late 1930s, as Germany began to become more and more of an obvious threat, the governments of Britain and France began to rearm. There was much debate in France between pacifism and rearmament, and during this time the government settled for appeasement, but also began to rearm. There was a war brewing, and the French wanted to have the very best fighter designs they could, as aircraft had proved themselves in World War 1, and would be even more important in the event of another war.
However, in 1937, the Conseil SupΓ©rieur de l'Air, the brass of the French Air Force, came to a decision that in the event of a war, the Air Force couldn't be provided with aircraft produced in France quick enough. It was then that the Dutch Aircraft company Koolhoven was contracted to create an easy to build, inexpensive, but high performance fighter. The French particularly wanted it to be able to be fitted with French engines and other components, which would ease logistics.
Designer Erich Schatzki began work on the aircraft, and took heavy inspiration from previous designs he had built, such as the Fokker D.XXI, and Fokker G.I heavy fighter. One of the most amazing things about its development was that it took two-and-a-half months to complete the aircraft, from initial drawings, to flying. Another part of its design that was not as widely seen at the time was its retractable landing gear, which would reduce drag on the aircraft, increasing performance. However, the aircraft used a standard armament for the time, four machine guns under the wings.

These carβs are all subjective and not βneedsβ in life. But hopefully sometime this year Iβll be in a position to purchase one of the above.
Personally the F-Type is one of the best looking cars on the road, the hard top reminiscent of the amazing E-Type ect. I still prefer the 2017-2020 facelift over the newer 2021 thin lights variant.
Mechanically, I have a lot of respect to Porsche and the 911 engines that they seem to keep innovating. The performance out of them is also astounding. The modern 2018 styling is perhaps more to my taste, albeit still a bit (ahem) generic. Coming from the UK Top Gear education that all Porscheβs look the same, Iβm slowly learning to appreciate the subtleties of Porsche design.
Based on the budget above, the best i can get in NZ is a 2017 F Type 400S with very very low Km/mileage. Beautiful, fairly new, little interior wear and modern ect.
On the Porsche front, its a 2005 911 is about as modern as I can go. With well over the 80,000km on the clock and the age to show it.
Thought Iβd ask the Porsche forum which would you choose? Iβm not swimming in cash, a more reliable car will be more drivable on a daily basis, I donβt have backup surplus to pay for a new Porsche clutch! but I can cover the expected oil change on an F-T diff :P lol.
Itβs like comparing fresh apples to a banana split, you canβt properly compare but you can at least talk abut the two. :)
Expecting a lot of replyβs to just go for the 911, but Iβm interested to see which Porsche fans would still get the F Type over it. :)
I said,βNo it doesnβt.β
I upload to 51K nowβ¦still holding. 50K was my goalβ¦but if the price drops to 5-7 I will load up again to 60β¦who knows perhaps it will be 100Π Π°t leastπ Iβm confident we see 1$+ next year if market goes up (it will) and good news, partnerships are coming. Believe or leave!

I understand that the greed & fear meter is all the way down to 10.
I also understand this dip is not what people expected after so many ExPeRtS claimed BTC would reach 100k and ETH 10k lmfao
I also also do understand that any newcomer will be scared af if they just put their Xmas money into crypto.
What I have learnt though is, if you got any kind of crypto rewards based on staking, then please just lock it up for some solid good months or years and forget about this. It helps you mentally and also it is in my opinion the best call for a long term hodler.
In my case, I have been sipping coffee watching Reddit go nuts and keeping calm as hell because I have Ethereum staked, CRO staked for the card and in their DeFi Earn (all locked) and the rest of coins I have them staked and all these secured with a hardware wallet which I genuinely find it too much of a hassle to get to start using again for the sake of panic selling.
It is just better to watch the world burn while you know it will eventually heal up again.
Stake your coins, earn interest and lock it up for a while. It will help you A LOT mentally.
NOTE: any PoW hodlers (unstakable coins obviously), try to get them into a DeFi earning system like Compound or Aave. Any centralised ones can be Nexo
Iβve been lurking on this sub and see the majority of posters are considering surgery, scheduled or recent, or relatively new post-op <5 yrs out. Iβd consider myself a βsuccessβ though my daily life and health is impacted by having had bypass surgery. Especially as I am getting older.
There was no one to ask real questions when I was making my decision. Iβve never once regretted it though, even with the challenges it brings.
Edit to say: ALCOHOL IS THE DEVIL. It should not be consumed post bypass. Abuse/addiction are such huge risks. I never drank before the surgery. I would have 100 % said βnot meβ and discarded the warning. Just donβt!
Edit: Thank you for all the great questions! I hope I helped some of you. Iβm only one experience YMMV. If you have further questions feel free to DM me. Good luck!
