I fully understand that it's not traditional country by any means, but I'd slot it in firmly as country rock. 4 years later it's still in my regular CD rotation when I'm driving around. Here's my other top 10 favorite albums from 2017, in no particular order:

Sorry this is my second post today. But, my local country radio station host mentioned how Kip Moore has many issues. I cannot find anything on google about them and I assume someone on here might know what his “issues” are. Anyone have an idea??
So I’ve read on here that he is very introverted and private and nice but also that he DM’s girls on IG and hooks up and ghosts. I guess those two things aren’t mutually exclusive….
What are you all thoughts?
I’m looking specifically at Slowheart and Wild World but I just can’t make my mind. Wild World is my favorite album of 2020 and Slowheart is just a rocker of an album that would add a lot of diversity to my collection. Naturally, as with any important life decision, I am putting my future in the hands of random internet strangers. Which one should I choose?
Go listen. Legitimately fantastic and at times, incredibly profound, music. I was slightly disappointed this year with the lack of attention it got. I think his voice is slept on as being the best/one of the best in the music scene today. Gives off Springsteen vibes. It’s so much different lyrically and sonically than anyone else out there at the moment. Not to mention he writes 95% of his own songs which is always a plus! Recommend him to anyone unfamiliar on this sub
New songs: Don’t Go Changing, Midnight Slow Dance, How High, Man’s Gotta Do
I like all 4 songs, but wish he’d done a few more stripped down ones like he had on the first release of the album. Man’s Gotta Do is probably my favourite - great lyrics and powerful music behind them!

Anyone know why Kip Moore doesn’t get much air time or talked about in the country music world? He’s one of the my favorites as he doesn’t sound like most of the guys on the radio.
