This was not an easy post to make, but it had to be said sooner or later. It sucks that this is how I start the new year, but the timing is never right for posts like this.
I've been struggling with this decision for a while because I always felt like I'm "betraying" the series' fans if I made the decision to drop it, fearing that nobody will pick it up, but let's be real, by taking 3 or more months to release each chapter of a monthly series, I'm already ""betraying"" peoples' expectations. And the more the chapters get delayed, the worse it is on my mental health to stress about fulfilling a quota that becomes more difficult each day. I just don't have the time to scanlate anymore, and the delays have made that obvious.
It feels really defeatist to give up and walk away like this, but with the official licensed translation of Volume 5 coming out at the end of this month, I have to face the reality that my love for this series will not magically make me able to scanlate it. I need to spend 2022 working on stabilizing myself, and stressing about the series will not help that.
If by some miracle I get the time and energy to come back to it and nobody has picked it up, I might give it a shot, but don't count on it.

Im just an average manga enjoyer (though I do not read a lot of manga nor watch a lot of anime), and I have stumbled upon this subreddit for a while now, and although I do enjoy the salt from time to time, there are also times when we can discuss what we enjoy (like sexiled, for example) , well, a manga that I like is Kaiju Girl Caramelise also known as Otome Kaiju caramelise , which tldr is about romance and body issues, where the main girl and protagonist, has a condition that culminates in her transforming into a giant Kaiju with heart pupils (its better than it sounds) I havent seen a lot about this series in reddit, and the subreddit for the series its private, so I dont know if many people know about it, this is just an opinion, not a review! you can read it online, like in mangakalot.
