A list of puns related to "John Deere 3020"
My family has always owned John Deere lawn equipment and tractors. My grandfather (RIP) owned multiple John Deere farm tractors on his farm. My father owned multiple John Deere mowers for his property. I recently inherited a John Deere lawn tractor from my father, and he purchased a brand new one when he gave me the old one.
Weβre both selling them and buying a Non John Deere tractor for next year.
The last straw was the health insurance cancellation. Weβre in the middle of a pandemic. And they think itβs okay to use that as leverage? Leveraging someoneβs life for their labor? One of the most appalling things Iβve ever witnessed.
Theyβve lost a 3 generation John Deere family.
I highly suggest EVERYBODY call their customer service center and tell them the same.
Do not buy John Deere. Do not support John Deere. Solidarity with the workers.
EDIT: UPDATE! John Deere CAVES! https://www.reddit.com/r/antiwork/comments/qdozab/contacting_john_deere_customer_service_update/
Edit: to all the mad scabs reporting me as suicidal to Reddit, please do me a favor and die mad about this post. Thanks.

It appears a statement was made to the press today at around 3 PM, at the same time the same statement was sent in response to my email. Again, not sure calling their attention to the PR shit storm and hundreds of thousands-millions of people who saw this post in my email to their PR department moved anyone, but the timing is very coincidental, and it certainly didnβt hurt.
Final edit: please donβt call customer service. JD has agreed to negotiate with the union with health benefits intact. Let them work it out.
"It came as a shock to many analysts, given the concessions workers had been able to wring out of Deere during their first two weeks on strike. The agreement included immediate 10 percent raisesβdouble what was in the first TAβplus two more 5 percent raises and three 3 percent lump sum payments during the six-year contract. It killed the βthird tierβ Deere had proposed, preserving the option of a traditional pension for all new hires. It restored a cost-of-living adjustment that workers had lost in the last contract. And it boosted existing pensions and added retirement bonuses. To sweeten the deal, Deere offered an $8,500 ratification bonus. But for a majority of Deere workers, that wasnβt enough. Theyβre pushing for a deal that includes retiree health insurance (currently offered only to workers hired before 1997), shores up the incentive pay system, fixes a broken grievance system, and brings real wages up to pre-β97 levels, taking Deereβs record profits into account." -Labor Notes, Jonah Furman
55% of workers rejected this contract to make sure their retirees get healthcare. Solidarity to the death. If they do get healthcare it will also incentivize John Deere to find a way to reduce healthcare costs, hopefully pitting them against big pharma and for some sort of decentish reform.
Tractor Beam
At this point. How are we the only major fucked over corporation of workers that haven't staged a major walkout in a major market area? I understand it's fun to vent in here, and be there for each other, but there has to be at least one place, where it has to be that bad to match their energy of just walking out
After joining this Subreddit and starting to watch a few Farming sim (and real farming) youtubers, I've noticed quite a significance bias towards the John Deere brand. Can anyone explain why this is?. As an ignorant observer who only plays pretend farming on his PC, I can't see any significant difference between the brands.
As for me, I like Fendt the best, don't know why, and can't give a reason for it, i just have seem to choose those the most!
