We know the Wilpons suck as owners, but they invested a lot during Minaya's tenure, and have rapidly increased payroll when digging themselves out. So, why have they been a constant trainwreck?
Because Jeff has his greasy hand in both business and player ops. There have been countless incident on both sides that were caused or exacerbated by Jeff's meddling. From Pedro being forced to play hurt, to the one ticket rep lodging a complaint with Jeff, to Terry Francona's son having a fallout with the team, to the AAA team getting exiled from Buffalo and landing in a literal cesspool in Vegas, and so on and so forth. These issues can be traced back to the top and end with the COO, Jeff Wilpon. As a biased party, he should have had no business in player ops, and especially with him also having direct control with business ops.
While Steve Cohen is the ideal candidate, we just need to get rid of these buffoons, especially Jeff. He's done nothing to deserve inheritance from Papa Fred for the Mets nor SNY.

How people still actually think this is beyond me but some people do. The last sentence is my favorite.
"Jeff Kaplan: Well, weβve been teasing Sombra for a very long time. The interesting part was we then put a tease in for Ana in Temple of Anubis. Because people were so hot on the Sombra trail, they assumed that that tease for Ana was actually Sombra. That was the fascinating part of watching how that all played out. Sometimes, peopleβs obsession with being on the trail gives them a little bit of tunnel vision."

There have been a lot of comments based on this tweet β@demar727: Can you play more like leroi, and less like a dog whistle or police siren. Thanks. @JeffCoffinMusicβ - MY RESPONSE WAS: No. But thanks for asking. i would like to say a few things and then i will be silent on the whole matter.
Firstly, I thank everyone for your beautiful words of support toward me and i appreciate it more than I can possibly tell you here. I know i cannot please everyone all of the time but i promise you i will give you everything i can and that i will always do my best to serve the music, the musicians and the audience to the best of my abilities.
Secondly, and i truly believe this, 'ALL LISTENERS ARE EQUAL IN THEIR OPINIONS' (Ornette Coleman).
Those things said, i hope the negativity can stop toward people we disagree with. Some of the things that have been written to and about @demar727 (I won't print his name here) have been very difficult for me to read and my response was in NO way meant to degrade him or to belittle him. I don't get personal on facebook or twitter and would much rather have a conversation with someone than go thru social media to communicate. I don't like when people talk badly about others or bully them online and i kindly, peacefully and respectfully ask that it stop. no one speaks for me when that is happening as i would certainly never speak for anyone else in that regard.
I believe that we can be kind and polite and get our point across at the same time...at least i hope we can. i apologize to @demar727 for any hurtful comments made by others on my behalf. they do not reflect my views or how i feel.
Now, I'm going back to what i do best...making music.
thanks again to you all for your understanding, support and love. peace...jc"
