I'll try my best not to sound like a fanboy in this post, I wont be talking about his Music or his fashion, or how rich he is, but it is absolutely bizarre how everyone has been conditioned to hate a man so much.

Everyone has their shortcomings, we all have weaknesses and have done bad things, but Kanye is usually treated like a piñata in the Media and on the Internet. Sometimes I feel like he has done something comparable to Hitler or Harvey Weinstein, heck, I haven't seen this much hate towards Jeffery Epstein on Twitter, Reddit or talking to people in everyday life.

Lets go through a list of terrible things Kanye has done over the years:

1. George Bush doesn't care about Black People
2. Taylor Swift Incident
3. Famous Music Video
4. Supporting Donald Trump
5. Election Rally Breakdown
6. Working with Marylin Manson

Before I say anything further, my 35 year old elder brother who was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder as a teenager, he was and still is extremely smart, top of his class in school and college. My mother who is a single parent TO THIS DAY has to make sure he's regularly taking his medication, sometimes he just refuses to do so because it hinders with his everyday life, he says it makes him gain weight, makes him sleep all the time, affects his sex life and I can list a dozen more reasons. No one else in the world can take care of him like my mother does, it honestly scares me every single day of my life what will happen when he is alone, because God Knows I have tried but I can't get through to him. Honestly, his is one of the reasons I started following Kanye West because someone told me he lost his mind after his mothers death.

Kanye West is the same guy who at the start of his career spoke against the use of Homophobic Slurs in Rap/Hiphop while at the time the biggest Rap artists like 50cents used to regularly use Homophobic Slurs in their Diss Tracks. People like JayZ and Dr Dre are idolized, the former has actually shot people, used to be a drug dealer and the later is a wife beater.

All of Hollywood knew about Harvey Weinstein, Meryl Streep called Roman Polanski who is a convicted Paedophile a GOD live on TV, Clinton flew to Epstiens Island over a dozen times, but its Kanye West who needs to be cancelled, not only cancelled, but insulted and humiliated because 'he's crazy'. My girlfriend and my mother hated each other. My girlfriend and I had been dating for several years since college. She was about 3 years older than me, and had been married and divorced when she was quite young. When I first saw her, I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. When things were going well with her, our relationship was like magic! Whenever we were together, the rest of the world seemed like some vague blur happening distantly outside our little paradise.

We had never taken our relationship to the next level of living together or marriage for two reasons. Firstly, our relationship was very unstable. About every other month, she would break off with me for about a week. Then she would call me and we would get back together, because she was incredibly lonely and missed me, as she really had no other friends. She was always playing games with me, saying these vague statements that could be interpreted any number of ways, inventing imaginary guys who were crazy about her to make me jealous, etc.

This all should have been a huge warning to me, because she was very attractive and super intelligent, yet she had an incredibly hard time making social contacts with anyone other than myself. I had been a very shy, awkward guy in high school, and she was the first really attractive woman who ever showed an interest in me, so basically, I was a sucker for her and forgave her game-playing and other devious behavior. Also, the connection we had when things were going well was so deep and almost magical. I have never felt anything quite like that connection in my life.

The second reason is that I was living with my mother because my mom was mentally ill with schizophrenia and needed me around in case things got out of hand. My girlfriend resented that very much, and my mother hated my girlfriend as she viewed her as a threat. I had not told my girlfriend the extent of my mom's mental illness, so she just thought I was a mama's boy.

One day, I came home from work and found that my mother had committed suicide. She had been depressed for a while, but seemed to be pulling out of it. I had no idea she was planning to take her own life.

I did not want to stay in the house where I found my mother, so I moved in with my girlfriend until I could find a place or we decided to make the arrangement permanent. My girlfriend immediately started complaining that I was "emotionally distant". I guess so, after finding my mom dead...

One of the best things about writing these Band of the Week posts is the ability to spotlight something overlooked. And this week’s band totally deserves your attention.

Here’s the thing: if you didn’t know them, you’d just think that these guys were, I don’t know, laborers or plumbers or electricians or something. They totally look like they are blue collar dudes who just want to have a smoke and beer at the end of the day.

But they are one of the hardest working bands out there, and have carved out a niche in the Stoner Rock market. They have truly embraced the lifestyle. They tour their asses off, return home, bang out an album, and then hit the road again.

That means they do Rock and Roll right. They’ve been a band since the early 1990’s and are an amazing live act.

Yup. It is time to learn about CLUTCH.

When you get together in the early 90’s and are still together 30 years later, are you still just a band? Or are you some kind of weird asexual polyamourous family?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
