A list of puns related to "James Diamond"
Wow what a mess. I'd never seen this movie in the early naughts, so laat night was my first viewing. It cost $90M to make (?!?!) But made $15M at the box office...ooof...and has been slaughtered on RT from both critics and audiences. Even so, it's worth seeing bc even though it's not a "so bad it's good" film, it is a "so this is what happens when a studio thoroughly fucks up every part of the movie making process and otherwise good actors have to star it in anyway". Also, there'a lots of sex and nudity for no reason lol.
It's abt some space medics that answer an SOS beacon (familiar story), rescue a lone survivor with an alien artifact that turns out to have extreme consequences, threatening to create a supernova that threatens to annhialate the entire universe. It doesn't sound like it could be terrible, but somehow it is.
First of all, there's a mix of very good effects with some of the most terrible effects (see android onboard that looks like a guy in a costume acting like an ADHD robot) and is never used for anything notable...they just walk him accross the screen occasionally. Facinelli is supposed to play a sexy villian, but he never comes accross as sexy OR villainous. My hubs said he just seemed like an abusive ex boyfriend bro dude and I couldn't agree more. It's edited together like a mishmash...one scene it seems like a space action thriller, the very next scene like space erotica, thr next scene like a sci fi horror...at one point turning into an intergalatic disaster movie...wtf? The themes were all over the place.
It had like 12 writers, at one point the director quit and used a psuedonym, Francis Ford Coppola was brought on for another $1M to try to cobble it together in editing. WHAT A MESS. Lol
But the WORST part was the ship's AI, called Sweetie throughout the film, which spent most of the movie dialoguing an unnecessary narrative, sounds like an annoying ex gf, and says the most incomprehensible things for an AI. Supposedly the engineer who designed Sweetie designed it with human emotion, but it's just stupid and distracting and is a weird plot device that could be totally removed and everything would be improved.
As an aside, it's a little shocking to see James Spader, who looks 10yrs younger than his actual age in this film...and just 2 decades later looks like he's aged 50yrs, while Angela Basset looks like she's aged backwards lol.
Does James harden have a somewhat fast realese thinking of picking him.

Five months ago I had my engagement ring re-set and also bought a new wedding band from Jared, and selected a James Allen setting. Not all stores are like this but at my local Jared, they had a small amount of James Allen jewelry. So, I had my original diamond (around 1carat oval, appraised recently for about 3K but it was not from either vendor) placed in the new setting and LOVED it. For five months. Last night I looked down-- two prongs were bent and the center stone was GONE. Haven't found it if it's in the house. All I do is work from home on a laptop. I don't remember hitting or snagging the ring on anything. Obviously I must have, but it wasn't enough to even notice, let alone hurt, so it couldn't have pulled that bad. Anyhow, the protection I purchased from Jared does not cover the stone, because I didn't buy it from them but who knows if it would've covered anyway (it covers defects or normal wear and tear, I'm guessing bent prong= accidental damage so not covered). My homeowners does not cover loss due to damage like this either. SO. My lessons learned. Your insurance, even a rider, may not cover something like this. To lose the WHOLE ring, yes maybe, but just the stone? No. If you have a four-prong ring, consider 6 instead. Don't assume if something happens that your insurance will cover the loss. Also, James Allen rings are very pretty, but I am doubting durability if five months later it bends enough to drop the diamond and you didn't hit or bang it on anything. I'm still thinking it must've snagged on clothing and bent somehow and I didn't see it fall. I'm 49 and don't care much what others think anymore. I'm considering getting a moissanite stone so I can have something beautiful to make me smile, but not so valuable that it's a big financial deal if it falls out. I invest my money in my 401 K and in my kids' education, not my jewlery. I don't care if my ring is an investment or not, I just want it to look pretty and make me happy. And with less expensive gem, I can afford a big honking one that will make a good PLONK sound so I notice when it falls out next time. Also, best wishes to all you soon-to-be and newly engageds out there! ;)

I edited together the video from the James Allen website, plus my own crappy cinematography once it was delivered this morning π. Tell me how I did, thanks. Hope she likes it.

I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend soon - so excited! I've narrowed down the right engagement ring. Going with JA for value - a solitaire, 6-prong knife edge in platinum. I'd love your help finding a diamond. I'm ok spending about $12K, looking for 1.2-1.4 carats. The diamond does not have to be perfect - most important thing to me is that it's eye clean and as sparkly as possible!
Any thoughts on this one? https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.26-carat-g-color-vvs1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-13086940
Thank you!
Looking to buy an engagement ring with a lab created diamond from James Allen. Hoping to find a pear in my price range, would be set in white gold setting. Diamond budget $1500-$2000ish CAD. Any advice or specific diamonds on James Allen would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi there,
Can you help me compare these 2 lab grown diamonds? I'm trying to see if it's just mark-up or there's an actual difference between the 2 in terms of visual or specs.
Been looking for a 1-2 carat lab grown diamond for my gf, and compared prices from many retailers. Ritani and loosegrowndiamond have the best prices so far.
So here are the diamons I've told you about:
1.03 D, IF, Ideal Cut
Ritani: https://www.ritani.com/products/1-03-carat-id-cut-d-color-if-clarity-igi-487110700-sku-d-656tv6t6i4
here's a video link for this particular diamond (because Ritani's not famous for its great pictures): https://clientmedia.s3.amazonaws.com/vg/Video/Viewer4.0/Vision360.html?d=487110700

Lindor loses diamond
Iβm wondering if anyone has purchased a lab grown diamond from James Allen and had it not test as a diamond? This all started when we took the ring into Jared to get resized and the initial test they do prior to accepting the ring kept testing as moissanite. We then took it to another vendor and was told it wasnβt a diamond (Costco) . Has this happened to anyone else? If so what ended up happening?
TIA
An Alternate History BLAST!

I usually have a hard time when a synopsis of a book compares it to other things that I love. But, in the case where that description is dead onβ¦ the book is excellent. Just like Operation Brushfire was. I thought βhow on earth could Bruno and Wolanyk make a story that combines Man in the High Castle and Blade Runner?β But by god they did it, but they nailed it.

Do you think any of these actors would have made a good James Bond in "Diamonds are Forever"?
I stopped at one of my local thrift stores today at closing time and spotted some very vintage looking grill cloth on two speakers stacked in a corner. I could tell the cabs were a rough even from a distance but I was curious as to what they may be. Turned out to be a pair of JBL Lancer 33 from about 1960. Both drivers work but the surround is of course cracked and dry. It is Lans-a-loy and not foam or cloth. I will refinish the cabs, seek out replacement emblems and will need to determine what to do about the deteriorated surrounds on the woofers. If there is a repair method for the originals I would try and leave them but I am pessimistic given the condition of them! Any advice is always appreciated and I hope you all enjoy the pics.

$1000 is about my max budget for a diamond, so I found this one from James Allenβs website.
.8 carat, E color, VS2 clarity and Idea cut. I appreciate everyoneβs input.
