A list of puns related to "Interior Design (album)"
Hello :D
I'm currently a student of interior design, this year is technically my foundation year before I start my BA, right now I'm studying mood boards and if anyone would like me to create one then I'd be happy to! Free of course (obv)!
I'm still learning so this would also benefit me!
Thank you :D
Looking to transform a 600sq ft garage into a better storage/office space and am having trouble deciding on several aspects.
Did a gig today for the vatores:
So I redid theyβre living room in brown with no modern or mid century pieces. During the reveal, they love it, hugging my sims, showing hearts and thumbs up at all the objects, looking super happy.
The gig results? 0$ and loss of performance. WTF? Is the result just a dice roll to keep you from getting perfect on every gig? smh.
Used revit for school for one class like 6 years ago. This question is for anyone that might deal with remodels as a job.
Wife and I have talked about remodeling in about 5 years. Should be a pretty drastic one. Being excited I decided to put the house into autocad and talked up revit to her.
I decided to throw the CAD plans into revit using the trial. Iβm to the part of really being able to mess with interior design and exterior aesthetics.
Biggest problem is we donβt know what the design overall will be. We are expanding in two sections of the house but donβt know the footage out. We also may be knocking down most interior walls and completely redoing the roof. Sky is the limit on design options.
My main question is what are the pros and cons of using the design options for overall layout?
I have found that having existing walls on my main model doesnβt allow me to add windows into say an option labeled β20βexpansion.β I can duplicate multiple instances of walls or have a seperate option for say β20βexpansionWindowPpacementA.β Either option seems really clunky and adds extra fodder.
I also seem to be running into similar problems when it comes to interior wall layouts.
Hindsight it seems like the smarter thing to do is to go as far as possible on the base plan, duplicate it, rename it and then modified it.
Any tips or insight would be appreciated.
My knowledge of Glaswegian art was limited to footnotes before going. In the texts I've read, Art Nouveau tends to be lumped in with rococo, which I've always considered gaudy. But this exhibition focuses on two Scottish couples known as The Four (The Mackintoshes and The MacNairs), who belonged to a group of young, middle-class women that dubbed themselves The Immortals. Their work was influenced by concurrent movements: Arts & Crafts, Celtic Revival, and Japonisme. Fans of early modernism will notice similarities between the budding Expressionists like Klimt and Egon Schiele.
The result feels like a glimpse into an alternate, egalitarian timeline, where female artists were encouraged to contribute to the city's economic boom from shipbuilding. The fusion of styles instills a folksy, ethereal vibe that's simultaneously classical, modern, and mystical (no surprise they were also referred to as the "Spook" school). There's a variety of pieces in at least a dozen mediums, many of which are either advertisements/decorations for local businesses or furnishings/designs for private homes. It's a time warp into a period I didn't know existed, and I wanted to stay for months.
Designing the New: Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style will be here until mid-September. If you haven't seen the sprawling Creating the American West collection in the upstairs gallery, you have until the 27th of this month to check it out.
