I thought this is a map of the Philippines 10M years from now, until I realized it's rotated map of insular Southeast Asia. The island of Papua resembles Luzon while Borneo looks like Mindanao.

I understand what the limitations are of these apps, so no need to explain how they work. I am using MicroG without signing in and all of my "unsafe" apps are only installed in my work profile.
I've been using Island but somehow still getting some targeted shit and wondering if I chose poorly. I don't think island is open source so maybe its farming.
I've had issues with both Insular and Shelter but have had at least one work. Also one of them says not to use with custom ROM. I am running Lineage with MicroG (not signed into Google). Anyone tried this combo?

Given that the Commonwealth of the Philippines still nominally exists as a government-in-exile in America, it might make sense for it to be properly "reinstated" as a potential option for the OFN.
I know it's possible for either the US remnants to retake the Philippines from Japan, or join a coalition government with Luis Taruc's forces, but it's worth mentioning that in-universe, the exiled Commonwealth government is still technically functioning in America itself. There's even an event mentioning how Carlos Romulo (who in OTL was a writer, distinguished diplomat and later President of the UN General Assembly) bemoans how his erstwhile allies seem to be doing nothing while his homeland remains under the puppet KALIBAPI regime.
Depending on who's US President, the OFN could have a potential option for reestablishing the Commonwealth as an independent member-state should the Filipino resistance (and/or the US remnants) win. Though I could also imagine this would have its own setbacks, such as be potential rifts with Taruc and other local figures due to "living it up" in America in that time.
Still worth exploring at any rate.

On December 16 super typhoon Rai (category 5) was a direct hit to the tiny island of Siargao. It is the first island to be struck by the typhoon/hurricane since it is in eastern most part of the Philippines. Damages are heavy and catastrophic. Please help spread the word!
