A list of puns related to "In the Name of the Kaisers"
I am curious how/why the name Kaiser came to be so common in Bangladesh. Is the word Kaiser a direct reference to Cesar of the Roman Empire which then spawned the German form Kaiser (and Slavic form tsar/Czar, etc)?
It's interesting to me as the Roman empire was very far from Bangladesh. Anyone have any information about this? Thanks!
Hey Aruba,
Its safe to say that, despite the set backs in the save (Caused mainly by the fact I am not very experienced in playing in the HRE), I had done decently as Austria. I had both Bohemia and Hungary as PU's early on, as expected, was able to Inherit Burgundy before 1455, managed to Rein in Italy and quickly squashed two out of the three centres of reformation that appeared in the HRE.
Since the initial successes however there has been a series of setbacks:
One of the centres of reformation was quickly conquered by Genoa, meaning I was unable to force it to be Catholic, and has meant that over the decades Heresy has started to hurt Imperial Authority quite a lot.
Furthermore a war to PU Spain dragged on far longer than it should have (Neither of us could get access through France, and he had the superior Navy, so for around ten years this war dragged on). Whiles eventually I did get the PU, having to essentially build an brand new navy from scratch, those ten years saw the relatively positive condition I had kept the HRE in to maintain a high Imperial Authority collapse, meaning Imperial Authority is growing extremely slowly right now outside of peace, which almost never happens.
My main problem however is that the Ottomans declared war on me, and France, clearly not liking the fact I was sitting firmly at the Number One spot in Europe, joined on his side. This has left me and my allies not only massively outnumbered, and disorganised in comparison (The French and Ottomans have a strong concertation of troops, where as mine are spread out over my allies), but it also means my side is going up against militaries with relatively high Tradition, as well as much higher Morale, never mind the fact I left my military tech fall slightly behind as I hadn't predicted a war with the Ottomans - despite being rivals, we had left each other alone for a century and a half.
I'm not bad at war in this game, but there is no way I see myself winning it without any advice, and I would be grateful if you had the chance to not only talk me through the best way to resolve this war (Be it winning or a strategic withdraw from the Balkans), as well as possibly any advice with dealing with my issues of Imperial Authority, and more general things to improve my power.
I have all the DLC's.

KR4 Alpha 0.8.5 'Return of the Kaiser'
Yes! You read that right: the compatibility patch for the Man the Guns update has finally arrived. We recognize that it took a while - we did not anticipate the amount of work that eventually had to be done to make our own naval rework work properly with the new mechanics the vanilla patch brought with it. It is here now and we hope you will enjoy it. The KR4 team

Reworked Commune of France capitulation - it is no longer annexed after a monthβs occupation. Countries that are occupying enough of France have access to decisions allowing them to reduce CoFβs Legitimacy, though National France is most effective at doing so.
