A list of puns related to "ICIMS"
I applied for two jobs with a large company that I used to work for. I was friendly with the HR talent acquisition leader as she is a family friend. During my exit interview she told me I could reach out to her if I ever needed anything. Simply put, I didn’t burn the bridge.
Well immediately after submitting the applications, the status for both of them displayed this: “Submitted, not selected.” I’m confused about what this means? If they had a chance to immediately look at my application and decided not to move me forward it would say “Reviewed, not selected.” So the fact that mine says “Submitted, not selected” makes me wonder if there is some sort of black list I’ve been put on as a former employee that automatically prevents my applications from going through? Is this a thing?
I need to know if I should stress about it or not. Could it just simply mean that they haven’t opened my application yet? I feel like until they’ve reviewed you the status should say “submitted.” Only. The “not selected” part scares me.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Former iCIMS employee here. These guys just laid off 10% of their employees. On the surface, given the pandemic we are going through this would seem normal. However it is not. This is because not only did they lay off these guys they are also planning on outsourcing to India by opening another office there. One of the more messed up parts is the new CEO's daughter however gets to start work at the company like nothing is going on.
About 2 years ago, these guys were acquired by a venture capital firm called Vista Equity Partners. I'm sure people here are familiar with it's CEO and chairman Robert F Smith, the guy who forgave student loan debt for the Morehouse college students. Well, ever since the company got acquired the culture already started going downhill. The focus was not so much on building something good and bug free but getting things out ASAP to customers so that they could rake in the $$$.
Point is these vista guys are straight up predatorial and now people who were my friends + coworkers are reaping the consequences of this decision making. If your company ever gets acquired by these guys: look for an another gig and leave on your own terms. I would also recommend looking at the attached hackernews link. There are comments there from other people whose employers got acquired by vista
It's sad really. It was once a nice place to work at. But, now I can't say I recommend it to people anymore.
As the title suggests, looking for people who have experience implementing and/or using either of these platforms for their ATS. In a position where we aren’t entertaining any additional vendors, but still deciding between the two. Feedback on ease of use, user experience (recruiters and managers), issues etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Company Two has removed the withdraw button from my applications on its ICIMS page. It used to look like what Company One's ICIMS page looks like (see imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/Yh0SjIA). Company Two has reached out to schedule an interview for the position last updated on 1/7, but has not notified me about the status of the position last updated 2/14. The withdraw button was there earlier this week for the position last updated 2/14. The withdraw button for the position last updated 1/7 was removed just after I was contacted for scheduling an interview.
Is the removal of the withdraw button from the position last updated 2/14 a good sign?
i just want to login with my email?
I already 'deleted'/inactivated my linkedin after x days it should delete and remove itself from search engines
I applied for a job and received an e-mail for an in person first interview. We solidified a date and time, and shortly after I checked the system for a status update where it said “candidate contacted”. I had the interview and it went so well. My interviewer just started her position two weeks prior, and I would be working under her. She told me she would be out of town the next week but that I would definitely be brought in for a second interview when she got back. It’s been a week today and I checked the status in the system again. It says “application sent for completion via email”. Dated the same date as my interview. I have never seen a status like this, and I’m like what the heck is going on. Any thoughts?

... keep reading on reddit ➡For the first time, I finally went through ICIMS recruiting platform to apply for a job. If you don't know what it is, it's probably because you gave up before starting to apply, due to an incredibly complicated, grueling process.
Think about this, to apply to a job through that platform, you need:
To create a profile with a password that requires an uppercase letter and a symbol, makes those passwords easy to forget, obviously.
Upload your resume- it only accepts docx and PDF
Type your entire career history out, even after uploading your resume, including your reason for leaving.
fill out information on where you went to high school and college, degree and date of graduation are required, even for high school.
They clearly haven't updated their website's UX since 2004, so navigating this site is the worst, not to mention their servers that always break down in the middle and don't save anything you wrote.
ICIMS can go die and any company that uses it clearly doesn't give a shit about their application process.
Good day.
Hello, Not sure if this is the right place for this, but maybe someone can help me here. I'm currently filling an application for BofI Federal Bank, but the application system is a little buggy. It is asking for my expected graduation date and GPA, but the values that are allowed fro input are only digits 0-9 (makes sense), but no symbols (decimals, slashes, etc.), and within the range of 2-250. How am I supposed to input a date using only the numbers 2-250, while not using any slashes? Furthermore, how can I input a GPA using only 2-250 without a decimal point?
Any help is appreciated. My apologies again if this is not the right place to ask this.
Hello and welcome!
I'm opening up this subreddit for all iCIMS users to view and use as they wish. Please follow the very simple rules in the side bar, but other than that, feel free to post any and all iCIMS related News, start a discussion about iCIMS, share some tips/tricks you've discovered while using the system. Anything you would like. Have fun!
I have no graphics for the subreddit, if there are certain banner, reddit, or iCIMS images you would like to see on the subreddit, please feel free to submit them to the mods and it might end up being used in the site design.
I have a client that is trying to increase job applications that are hosted on a 3rd party platform called ICIMS. The platform is unable to redirect back to a thank you page on the client's site and we are unable to place any pixels on the platform. We were able to set up a UTM pass-through that lets us identify the source of the application, but that's it.
Anyone have more success on this platform than I'm having?
Hey, I sent this question r/AskHR's way, but I figured a more diverse pool people might give different answers to the question.
Question in title. I've been job hunting for a couple years as an engineering graduate, and have noticed that companies with ICIMS software (Aerojet, Orbital Sciences, Insitu, etc.) allow only 1 resume to submit on the profile, and after recent events, learned that that resume changes after every edit even after it has been submitted for a job.
My question is that, sometimes at companies like Aerojet and Orbital Sciences, I feel confident in my abilities with respect multiple positions. However, many times, those positions have different requirements (i.e. an entry level propulsion position would have different reqs from an entry level software position), and, as I found out recently, I can't just tailor the 1 resume for the prop position then retailor it for the software position without the resume changing in the submitted position (i.e. HR for the entry level propulsion position will read a resume tailored to the software position since the resume is tied to the profile).
My question is how to get around this? I don't know how stringent ICIMS is with keyword filtering, so this makes it a lot more difficult if there are multiple jobs I like at the company that I can't apply for without getting bad scores on previous submissions because the keywords I go after change up on different submissions.
Any advice? Thank you in advance.
