A list of puns related to "I Get Along Without You Very Well (Except Sometimes)"
On Wikipedia it states that the main melodic theme of the popular tune is inspired by this particular Chopin piece, but the site it sources, and anywhere else, does not say this. I cannot hear similarities either, but I think that's just due to my lack of knowledge on theory.
I'm wondering if anyone can note the similarities between the two. I'm genuinely curious about it. Thanks!
Sorry for the caps, but requesting Chet Baker's version specifically, and purely the instrumentation/piano. Not the vocals.
I also enjoy songs like Earth Angel - The Penguins. I am particularly interested in Aretha Franklin as well, but I am not sure which ones are the ballads. I was hoping some of you can point me in the right direction!
Thanks in advance!
We've had a few teething problems.
Isn't not being able to eat when I'm hungry kind of counterproductive?
Iโve never gotten these random pissed off feeling when dating anybody before. For example: we had a great date and went to sleep. We cuddled during the night and the way he kept moving irritated me; the next morning, the way he lumbered about with heavy steps around my house pissed me off. What does it mean? I canโt tell if itโs a good or bad sign for our relationship; if it means that we are better or worse together because of these moments.
I have an INTP friend who is your typical INTP...awkward, seems like he might have a few mental disorders, and when he talks does that typical INTP thing where he moves his hands around like Jack Sparrow with palsy. However, heโs also super smart, fun to have discussions with, and we just โgetโ each other very well. We can talk on and on and on about pretty much any idea.
I also have this INFJ friend who is your typical INFJ. Heโs pretty cool...I mean aside from the god-complex aspect- but heโs pretty smart, we always have good discussions, heโs always understanding of my ideas, and heโs really good at listening if heโs not already decided that the answer to the universes problems is bitching about his failing relationship and not comprehending that itโs partially his fault- ya know, typical INFJ stuff.
Whenever Iโm hanging out with one of them, I always think about how the two of them would just fucking hit it off if they actually became friends. But the social circles are so different and theyโre both so reluctant to stray out of their comfort zones within their own social lives that hanging out with both of them would literally be impossible or super difficult- especially since they both have ESFP and ENFP girlfriends who take up a lot of their time.
Do you guys ever have friends like that? Where you just know they could be great friends or a great couple (these are both straight men so that probably wouldnโt happen) but the likelihood of them every actually meeting is pretty much impossible?
