it's pretty funny, if you listen to "One Girl..." You'll hear it. When I first heard it I had to rewind cuz it's just a one of line, the song doesn't really center around it or anything yet Scrim chose to sample it. Pretty interesting.
All that I can find on her is that she's an ice skater and used to box? LMK !
I really enjoy watching movies about people who will do anything for their art. I love seeing the determination and really relentless dedication even to the point of obsession. Any recommendations?

So, i'm an ex competeitive figure skater, and hopped on the rollerskating train b/c i figured, how different could it be?! (very, and not so different!) anyways...i had a NASTY, nasty fall the other day which i'm still recovering from and all i could think of was the movie I Tonya...her saying, "it wasn't my fault!" lol Because this one, technically, was not my fault! lol Has this happened to anyone else and if so, how do i avoid it in the future...
so, i'm skating, skating, doing some crossovers for the first time, feeling good...in my groove, started skating down the street and all the sudden, i had this panicked feeling b/c i felt my feet were like, glued together. i look down to see wtf is going on, and boom, face planted without my feet to move apart straight down. my laces from one boot looped and locked into the hooks of the OTHER boot three times over...WTF?! until i figure out exactly how that could happen (i have my suspicion: on one boot, i double wrapped it and tied on the outside of the boot and on the other, i just tucked the excess string inside the tongue of the boot..don't know why, but on this particular Friday night (last friday) this is how i laced my boots and ended up in the ER. No fractures, thank god! just a baddd busted up knee and feeling pretty bummed.
