A list of puns related to "Hotel loyalty program"
I recently stayed at a Hilton property through a Amex Hotel Collection reservation. During booking I was asked for my Hilton Honors #. At the hotel, I received both the $100 food/bev Hotel Collection credit plus my Hilton status gave me $24 a day in additional credit. I have also seen others mention the same for Marriott. Are there any other brands that you can provide your loyalty info during booking specifically under a Hotel Collection booking? I know there is always a chance of hotels honoring even when they donβt have to but I want to be sure before I book something.
I have Hyatt membership which is kind of cool, but hyatt has very limited presence in india.
I am looking for a hotel chain with pan india presence and good reward program for each stay.
Has anyone had any luck with booking a hotel on AmexTravel outside of the FHR & Hotel Collection, so the hotels that are labeled "Lowest Rates Guaranteed". And was able to use their hotel loyalty program?
At Checkout it gives you the following message not allowing you to enter your membership ID
"Unfortunately, we cannot accept any hotel loyalty program numbers for this booking. If you book a hotel with the "Lowest Rates Guarantee" label through amextravel.com, that hotel is not required to honor your loyalty program."
Wanting to take advantage of the 5x by booking on AmexTravel and the hotel loyalty program.
I have been a super user of Hoteltonight for a few years and have their top status. That said, elite status rewards donβt seem to be a big focus for hoteltonight, unsure how/if this may change under Airbnb.
Question: I travel for business mostly to LA, NYC, Toronto (large cities) and would like a hotel rewards program that offers the best discounts for higher end hotels in resort type vacation areas for family vacations. Which Iβve heard Hyatt is the best for?
I am an alaska airlines card holder and mvp. Should this influence the hotel rewards program that I sign up for?
Lastly, any idea if any of the main hotel rewards programs would status match hoteltonight?
Open to any thoughts or suggestions.
Have gold with a few from Amex plat. But wondering which chain to chalk up as a digital nomad and push to the next tier. Suggestions?
Was on a consulting gig in HK and was bumped to club room at the Marriott there and I welcomed the breakfast and meals. Saved me a bundle.
Planning a few trips to Japan, I can't figure it out by Googling, I saw a picture of a APA Member card which makes me think it might have a loyalty program. Is there is a loyalty program?
Letβs face it, swinging can get very expensive quite quickly. With all of the hotels and travel involved, anything to offset costs is helpful including hotel/airline loyalty programs. I was wondering which hotel/airline loyalty programs most swingers take advantage of. I am currently a Marriott guy bc I like the quality of the properties. I have status with Delta (didnβt take a lot of flights). I rack up a significant amount of free travel with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Curious to hear if there are better programs out there.
I don't have a lot of free time currently, so when I do get the chance to travel, I'll splurge a little bit and go for a higher rated, more expensive hotel. I was looking at the big 3 hotel loyalty programs (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott) and it seems like only Hyatt offers level increased based on points earned, all the other ones only look at nights stayed.
Given I'm working with ~10 nights, but likely a higher dollar cost, Hyatt seems like the brand I should go with? Does that sound about right?
McDonald's now has a new program where you get 100 pts. for every dollar spent at their restaurants. You can then exchange those points for a variety of items on the menu, most of them being classic ones.
First thing first, lets remember this program is a get more for your buck kind of plan, not a get the same for less bucks one. So we must consider that, like any other points program you don't save on your actual purchase, but bank in rewards for latter savings. In other words, you should not tell yourself "ohh, McDonald's is now less expansive with this program". If you don't eat at fast food restaurant, you shouldn't start doing so just because of McShit points. This is fucking marketing, there is no free lunch here. I just want people who already go to McDo to win the fucking most out of the game.
So I looked at the numbers in order to answer the question : "What is the best bang for your McShit points" with the new McDo program. The point of this exercice is to try to find what is the best way to spend your points to get max value back from your spending at McDonald's. At the same time, I wanted to know if it is worth the hassle of taking my app out every single time I purchase something there.
About methodology, the stats are based out of the prices of the items on the Quebec menu. It may vary from a province to another. If there is an available choices in size, type or flavor for an item on the points menu, I choose the most expansive one. It was a big struggle to consider every single option, and the exercice I aimed to get a general idea of the value of the program. For instance, the coffee listed here is the price of a XL coffee, so the value drops if you take a smaller size one.
So here are the results:
To the first question, we can see that there is moderatly inverse correlation between the price in points of an item and the value you get from your points. In other words, cheaper items (2000 points especially) on the menu are the best when you want to get max value back from your points. You can actually remark that coffee is the winner of this calculation, with a 11,25% value back. The 6000 an

Google Play has a loyalty program ranking silver, gold, and platnium which offers weekly points drops you can convert to play credits to use in to purchase items in the store. You reach a certain level each year based on points you gain from purchases or weekly random reward allotment which increases potential rewards when you rank up. Previously rewards were dispensed random in increments of 5. They have now changed that to any random number with an emphasis on lower values. They did this without any kind of announcement and ultimately reduced the value of achieving platinum status since the payout is now significantly less. Way to go Google on stealth nerfing your own loyalty program, totally not evil. π
Hi all - Marriott lifer here. I work in the industry and even put in a few years working for Marriott corporate.... however, I'd love to hear your thoughts...
I travel frequently (75-100 nights a year) and am curious on thoughts for the best loyalty program? I've seen Bonvoy drop in quality and just generally not feeling the love. Who do you prefer? Hyatt - Hilton?
I'm probably getting a hotel card as a second card in the near future, and starting to get more into the points game. Outside of the offers attached to the cards themselves, are there any 1-2 loyalty programs that stand out from the others? Asking mainly in terms of how much you can get for your points, blackout dates, bait-and-switch. The places that review cards tell you a lot about how much they feel the points are worth, but not as much about how well the programs run. Any programs to avoid? If it helps, this would be mainly for travel within the continental US, usually at mid tier type properties.

Lastly, we will reward loyal holders with a 10% airdrop just before our customs reflection dashboard release!
To qualify you must purchase the Y-5 token by the 1st of January 2022 and hold it until our dashboard release in Q2 2022. Our team will note all wallets on the 1st of January 2022 @ 18:00 UTC. If the holder's bag has not decreased by Q2 2022 they will automagically receive tokens.
This will be calculated by totaling up all the tokens loyal holders have, and then distributing 10% of the tokens in proportion to their holdings.
