A list of puns related to "Hospital Records Database"
If so, does it ever get discarded as if it never existed?
If databasing DNA is relatively new and hospitals take blood samples of newborns anyway, couldnβt some of that be compiled into the database that is normally used from previous offenders? Even on a donated standpoint to establish a stronger pool?
Imagine trying to con people by telling them fetching database records is chargeable, and takes 4 days!
This is what HDFC bank is telling people.
We require 4 days to fetch database records! And btw.. you need to pay too.
Anyone who knows a thing or two about computers will realize this is just a scam, a fraud played on unsuspecting people. There is no universe where it costs money to query a centralised database. They aren't sending someone to an office to fetch the records dammit, it's all on a fucking computer.
Indian banks have atrocious charges that rip people off - from minimum balance charge, to cash withdrawal charge to check clearance charge.
But because these scam policies by archaic bank institutions is threatened by crypto's emergence, the central bank that allows these scams to take place is lobbying to have crypto itself prohibited, so that these shady banks can continue conning users. This is the real pyramid scheme - sucking in new unsuspecting users and charging them for every single action while holding their funds hostage.
Hi,
I hope this is allowed as I am discussing the general concept and not promoting any particular products. So I was inspired by a recent r/antiwork post where users voiced frustration at the lack of transparency on glassdoor about salary, and many jobs do not openly advertise compensation until way into the interview process.
I am thinking of creating a free database where physicians can aggregate compensation information in a State/Job/Hospital/Pay format and share it with fellow physicians. For instance it would be something like
Massachusetts/Anaesthesiologist/Man's Greatest Hospital/400,000
so that individuals looking at similar positions can see what peers are getting for comparable work. In addition there would be statistical analysis such as mean, median, 25th/75th percentiles etc that are easily searchable. Or if you are taking a job at a particular hospital, the hope is you would be able to see pay for peers.
Most importantly this information would be freely accessible for anyone. I think this is a good idea because it empowers physicians to know the worth of your labour, and also hopefully reduce potential biases and discrepancies in pay for women and minorities.
What do you guys think of this idea? Do you think it would be useful or not? Any concerns of challenges?
Recently, many church books for the Solingen in Germany, the city I was born in, finally became viewable on familysearch. I've already added a lot of records for my direct ancestors, so many records I'm still missing from there are mostly distant cousins of my ancestors from the 1800's.
However there's so many distant cousins in my tree, that it would take too much effort for me to look specifically after every single record for all of them. Also, searching for them one by one isn't very fun to me, especially because I'm not even sure whether I will find anything or not.
While Ancestry has most of the birth and marriage records from family search indexed, they don't have the death records. Plus, there are more recent records on other websites like archion that aren't indexed on Ancestry either.
So instead, I decided that I want to add every single record from any district of Solingen into a large tree on ancestry to connect as many people from Solingen as I possibly can. Basically, people wouldn't need to make an effort to look through all kinds of records from Solingen anymore, because they'd all be compiled in this database. So, instead of having to manually search for birth, marriage and death records, you'd just need to search for the person you're looking for and you could see their birth date, death date, spouses and all their children on a single page.
I'm well aware that it's even more work for me than looking for specific people from my tree in the records, but at least it's way more fun than searching and finding nothing. That's because I'm not looking for anything specific, but instead adding every single record and slowly filling the gaps and connecting everything. To me, this is far more exciting than looking through a ton of records and finding a single record after hours of searching.
After around 2 months, I've added almost 2000 people to the tree, mostly from the town of Wald (which belongs to Solingen today), and there is no end in sight. To give you a perspective, Solingen has around 160,000 inhabitants today. It already had around 140,000 inhabitants in 1929 when it became a city after many of the surrounding towns including Wald joined it. So, there's still a ton of work ahead of me and this'll probably be a project I'll be working on for years or even decades.
I'm also considering asking the archive from Solingen to cooperate with me once the database is a bit larger. I have no idea whether German archives would give restricte

i know schema diff but not sure if there is a diff comparer for records
Iβve been using Ancestry for quite a while and have built up a large family tree. I looked at my tree today though and realized that some sources in my tree were missing (census records). I canβt find them when I search for them either. Does Ancestry occasionally delete records from its database?
Edit: And now theyβve reappeared. Iβm going to chalk it up to being a glitch.
I have a relational OLTP database that supports an app. Records are created and updated, and there's a created timestamp and an updated timestamp that tells us when the record was last changed.
My ETL jobs at the moment have just been identifying which records have changed/been created since the last ETL based on the updated timestamp and then updating the reporting database for those records, but this isn't idempotent.
How are you writing your jobs for this kind of source?
Hi all,
I am in the process of building an Airtable database for my small business. We are a weekly publication with hundreds of ads. Our Airtable database will store a huge amount of ad information, run dates, and business contact info. It will be built on and replace an old Filemaker database that is stored locally.
I'm self-teaching my way through it.
My first question: Is Airtable a good platform to do this on?
My second question: It appears to me that between all of our records, we will hit the record limit every year. Does anyone have any advice on how to store archived records so they can still be easily accessed? I've looked at Google Sheets, does that make sense?
Thanks all and Happy Holidays.
A while ago I was contacted by police because someone had accused me of harassing them by using a private caller id. Now I will admit there were problems between me and this person and since that day the police told me to never contact them again for any reason otherwise it could lead to charges, which I have not. But I am curious would this interaction with the police show up under my name for any of the searches in the title if the officer made a report?
I'm a new coder and extra new to python/flask. All the tutorials I'm seeing have you create a model in order to create your database, but I'm just accessing an existing database and read/write/modifying data. I won't be creating tables. Just displaying data in a UI that allows the user to modify data in a specific table. Thank you in advance!
So I've done some research on getting my pilots license and from what I can tell if I'm taking methadone it's pretty much going to be impossible for me to get my pilot's license. But not just that... When I stop taking methadone even years after I still may not be able to get my pilots license because they do a medical exam and the FAA has to approve it. And if you are an addict it seems like they may not approve it... I was talking to this one addict that has been clean for something like 10 or 15 years. I can't remember. And his first application got denied... He's been clean for 10 or 15 years. He was told that oh there must have been a mistake... Just to reapply. But he said that he is 99% sure it's because he's a recovering addict. And a lot of people told me that it's possible that I'll never be able to get my pilots license because of the fact that I'm a recovering addict. And that's not right. If I've been clean for a number of years it is wrong to deny me that privilege.
I didn't really know where to ask this question. Because it touches on so many different things... It has to do with being an addict medication and becoming a pilot. So I figured I would start off posting it here in hopes that somebody here knows the answer to my question. I figured the addiction subreddit would be the best starting place...
Thank you all ahead of time.
Iβve been messing around in Notion on my own for a year or two, but not in a shared environment. However, I recently got a job where many of the team uses Notion togetherβ¦but not well. Iβm trying to help bring some order to things, and related databases (departments, project, tasks, etc.) are the clear way to do that for this team. I want to set these up so the entire group of folks in the workspace can see and, if needed, edit field contents, page content, and make comments, but I do not want others to be able to adjust field names or field types, or to add, remove, or re-order fields. How can I share a database widely with others on my team without allowing others to adjust the database structure, while still allowing them to edit the contents of individual pages and fields?
